One, any Mac can be formatted to a PPC Distribution of Windows or Linux. I could rip that thing apart and replace it with my own processor, and just re-wire the I/O to my advantage. Macs are not surpassing PCs to any Degree.

Thumbs up though windows does not use unix in any way, shape or form. Windows 7 uses minwin, windows vista uses longhorn, windows xp/2000/NT Uses nt kernel, Windows ME, 98 uses DOS 5x windows 95 uses DOS 4x, windows 1,2 and 3 are a Gui overlay for dos 2 and 3, and Dos is, well, a kernel.

As for basics, they both do Office Stuff (Microsoft Office, iWork, OpenOffice, etc), they both can browse the web with the browser of your choice (Safari, IE, FireFox, Opera, SeaMonkey, etc), you can watch movies on both, listen to music on both. It's all just programming. The choice is up to use which one we want. I prefer Macs, but if I went PC, HP all the way!

Not always, I had a Mac Pro Tower and we actually had to send it back because Apple placed the RAM in incorrectly. Some how it worked for a few months prior to the crash too.

Windows uses a hybrid kernal, which I doubt you even understand, which is basically a combined monolithic (unix style) kernal and a microkernal.

Unix is just as unstable and easy to crash as windows, provided you hit its weak points, the trouble with monolithic kernals is that crashes can be a lot more difficult to fix.

It runs fine on 1GB of RAM, provided you turn off Aero. Just as OS X will run well on 512 if you turn enough visual features off. Linux, which is a unix kernal like OS X, will run fine on 64 MB of ram. Thus your point has been made completely irrelevent.

But I can say, Mac comes with some pretty cool programs (Their not professional, But their fun.) :) Pc Is good for gaming, and photos (Macs good for that too), Much more. Fact check required. A Kernel Panic is not for Macs only, Linux(s/es?) and Unix(s/es?) as well. It happens when a kernel receive errors too serious to recover (missing important files, corrupted files, invalid instructions...).

A Kernel Panic is also equal to Windows' BSoD.
