  • so the astringent varieties have to be soft to eat? what is the real difference between the astringent and non. Perhaps you said that in another video I missed. I feel soo much better on persimmons than most fruits. Where did you get all of those cool fruit posters? your muscularity is looking really great...

    Yes, you are correct, the astringent varieties must be delicately soft before eating or they will be chalky, while you can eat the non-astringents at any degree of ripeness. That said, if you let the non-astringents get very soft as well then they will be sweeter, but never to the same degree as the astringents.

    Persimmons are indeed a great fruit.

  • @victorbigdipper I bought the fruit posters while I was on the Big Island of Hawaii, but if you do an internet search for Big Island of Hawaii fruit posters I'm sure they will appear. There's also a citrus poster and a fig poster. The fig one is on my list of decorative items to purchase :D
