  • cant say condom on youtube vid? lol

  • hey I'm a phlebotomist. PM(private message me) for any questions. There's something that people would describe as "pop" when you hit the vain. However if youre doing it in emergency scenarios I expected people are dehydrated and their veins won't "pop up" or "pop" overall. I would say anchoring the vein at bottom helps.

  • its an LED dumbass not LCD, theres no screen on there

  • me parece muy interesante... pero solo se ve manera aceptable con la luz apagada

  • Should've check the grammar. I've filled your comment section, so I won't put more stuff on it. Sorry 'bout that.

  • ...though. Once you get good, you'll have people pulling on your scrubs and whispering things like, "dude, I screwed up", or "I know you're gonna hate me, but..." The last ones popular with the ladies. No matter how nicely you agree to do it. lol. Anyways, good luck man.Phlebotomy is nerve-racking, in the beginning, but as an EMS, you'll be dealing with much more stress than I ever did. And hopefully you'll get paid more than I ever did, too. :) Self-employed, now. The moneys better. Good luck.

  • don't hold a tight grip on the holder, you will feel this. But most people don't, because they keep all four fingers on the forearm (or wherever the venipuncture is being performed). They do this because they're afraid of losing control of the needle. But all you need is a very light group once you're in their. Firmer grips are only needed for entry and entering the tubes inside the holder (to keep from jamming the needle past the vein, or just to prevent it from moving period). Be careful...

  • ...to go in less than 5. :) You will "get it" if you don't let the process become passive and settle for "multiple stick syndrome." That's when phlebotomists (in my case) don't care and settle for just getting it. As long as you care enough, the irritation will provide you with the motivation to seek out all sorts of techniques as you go along. As far as knowing when you're in there. You will learn to feel a very slight "snap" that vibrates along the needle and onto the needle holder. If you..

  • First, thanks for the video. I've been wanting a customer review of this product, so I'm glad you posted it. Quick question: Does the light shield add visibility when using the device? Because I'll be using it in a lighted room. Thanks in advice.

Secondly, it won't take you 18 years to become an "expert" at it.I say "expert" because some people, after 30, are just horrible at drawing and make you wince watching them do it. You're motivated and seem to be aware. With these two you'll be good..

  • Thanks for the vid man. Not sure if it's you or me, but seems like the audio is peaking.
