I remember when I first played this level. it was a pain in my ass. but the music throughout the whole game and the game play with the four seperate story lines that all connected together in the end was just.. wow. and from just playing the demo of this on the 360 had inspired me to become a pilot. thanks man for posting this. 100 points!

Kinda has a movie music feeling to it, so this was an ingame track for a mission if all these comments around me are correct. (assuming that it is). I would like to see an Ace Combat game that was made like an RPG game. Not like the traditional kind were you can do different kinds of upgrades and such. Although I would keep the Aircraft upgrade, but I would give it a mode where if you were shot down then you had an escape and evasion mode just like in the actual air force.

This is really really cinematic. In fact, if you hadn't told me it was from a video game, I would have thought it to be from a war movie of some sort. It's the dramatic orchestration, and the drawn out arrangement that separate it from most VGM.

No complaints though, just noting that it treads the shrinking frontier between video game music and film score.

I've always felt that the Ace Combat series has been underrepresented in the VGM department.

Maybe it's because it's part of the aerial combat gaming genre that isn't mega-popular, or maybe it's because we don't recognize all of the composers, but damnit, the music in this series needs more lovin'.

It's one of the few soundtracks out there that really make you feel like the hero...and that's saying a megaton, considering the number of amazing soundtracks out there.

Ahh this song. I remember when I first heard it during the launch trailer for this game. The level of epic I felt pretty much sold me on the game. Previously, I had a PS1 with AC3...it was the first and last AC i played up to that point. Then I got 6 for the 360. Great mission when you get to take back Gracemeria too :) Thanks for the upload!
