Good video but the mosin isnt really like that (I have one). The bolt sticks straight out preventing the attachment of any scope but can easily be fixed with some modifications. I would love to scope miine but im going to cause i dont want to kill its originality.. My rifle was used by a russian infantrymen in the battle of stalingrad.

God I hate call of duty.. this isn't sniping. Snipers don't run around with their damn rifle, call of duty is not in any way, shape or form good for sniping. If you want to actually "snipe" go play battlefield bad company 2, you actually have to lead your bullets in that game and take the distance of the shot into account, alone with the rifle you are using. Also you can actually make use of the mil dots when you play battlefield, I highly suggest that anyone who wants to actually snipe play it.

I love how everyone compares this game to MW2 in terms of everything...it's not even created by the same company (well...Activision...but I was talking Treyarch vs IW). Anyway, it's all personal choice - I can do far better in MW2 sniping...but still like this game overall because you have to work for virtually every kill...still wish they'd fix getting dogs, dying, and getting more killstreaks with your dogs though :)

If you get really god with it, it is actually more powerfull than the ptrs!

I have tried it in a 1vs1 battle with a friend.

I shot him in the nuts with PTRS and he survived, and i did that lots of times.

Then i use my favorite sniper mosin nagant (of course!)

I shot his balls, and he died. quiet simple xD

I prefer the arisaka for playing hardcore because it has a higher fire rate than the mosin-nagant and will still kill someone with one shot, but if you are playing on core then the mosin-nagant might be a better choice because of it's higher power.

i think 8 is the best sensitivity for a sniper.

well, for a quick scoper :P

but if your sniping always try quick scoping and evantualy you'll get really good at quickscoping, than its very cool to snipe :-)

to me the mostin nagant is the best sniper. And i no the ptrs should be, but the mostin nagant makes u a better sniper because u have to get them in one hit because of the rate of fire. That is why i love it soo much. im decent at sniping becasue of it

God Tryarch fucked that rifle up. It sounds like you're shooting a 223. That and they screwed up the scope and it's reticle(which is really hard to do since that shit is easy as hell to find on GOOGLE!) It's only a 3.5x scope(looked like that thing had at least a 6x) and the reticle is supposed to look like this:
