Don't confuse economics with types of rule. The fastest and most efficient form of government is Autocracy, which is Kingship. The difference is how much of a society the government controls, as far as resources or even social values. The current US society is controlled by media, and hence corporations. Reliegions tend to have their own values, hence Communism had a great battle wrestling power from organized religions. Further, corporations that sell items they deem valuable (diamonds and gold) want their items to be "valued" high. And, for the most part, humans are lazy, so try to get out of work.

I've worked with Cubans. They cannot believe how bad it is here! Living conditions in Cuba are a result of the US interference. Many countries have it so you get jailed if you speak against the government, here it is a fellony, say something against the Royal Family in Monaco you will immediatly get deported. The living conditions are fairly good in Cuba. Some flee to make money so that they can then purchase a lot of land in Cuba (by sending money home to their family).

It is realistic and takes into account the inherent selfishness of human nature. While some government control is necessary to ensure exploitation and monopoly does not occur, buying and selling decision making power is left up to individuals and companies in a free market. Well, I'm liberal but I have a sense of humor, and I can take a joke. If Newsbusted wasn't funny and didn't hit home so well, the liberals without a sense of humor wouldn't spend so much time trying to trash it. And c'mon, guys, admit it - Jodi is kind of hot.
