To ad...making band-based games doesn't make sense to me. I'd consider myself a fan of "some" Aerosmith and Metallica, but a lot of the stuff from both bands i can't stand. it would make more sense to me to put out genre based games, like classic rock, electric blues, metal, etc. and release them simultaneously. if i don't want to buy "thrash metal" i'll still be happy with an alternative. the personalized songs show me that the game is not that hard to make, so i know they can do it.

Should have been "Rock Box" by Run DMC. I can't figure out why in so many cases the makers of these games choose rather obscure songs. Not that "Kings of Rock" is obscure really, but was "Tattooed Love Boys" the best Pretenders song they could think of? Was "Bad Reputation" really a better choice than "The Boys are Back in Town" or "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy? I know I'm being really picky of course, because everyone has different tastes. I just think they should pick songs that most people know.

Well, the "King of Rock" is pretty good, and it has those great guitar riffs, that's probably why it's there. Also, Aerosmith's members chose their favorite songs and bands, or the ones they were influenced by or played with. I wanna play the game already and feel like Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton..Well, only Tom Hamilton cause I have a real guitar and play alot of aerosmith songs but this game looks fucking kick-ass!
