Did you guys change the way we watch quests in the map now? I've loved carboniteaddon since the day i installed it! The area's on a highlighted quest are just dots now. Also any way you guys might reinstate the /find feature?

I wish this addon was less, well, Apple-ish. I love certain parts of it, especially the map, but the way it sort of forces itself to take over "everything" just makes it a bad deal overall.

Carbonite is way better than Questhelper or the new in-game addition...It shows you the exact zone and it has a better pointer :P it's smaller and its silver...also i love the peon sound when you complete a quest :P

Questhelper = addon invented by a 10 year old kid.

Carbonite = addon invented by that same ten year old kid, except now he has a few programmer's degrees and knowledge of codes.

ive got questhelper atm. im lvl 71 almost 72. im thinking about getting corbonite but ive heard bad stuff about it.

I used to use QH but found it lagged the game at times. Then when 3.2 came out lots of people had lag/disconnects on entering world and one of the things blizz suggested was to delete QuestHelper - as it was known to cause issues. I did all this and it didn't fix the prob - it was my isp throttling the game port but anyway, when I had that susses I decided to try carbonite rather than reload QH and must say, it's tons better. Strangely, less memory intensive and yet more to it. Highly recommend.

it now operates off of donations....i personally did donate but I know that the majority of ppl who play are 12-18 so dont count on it lastin' for long....cuz that age group won't/can't donate

They are part of the Carbonite Addon. You are probably running Carbonite Quest (it doesn't have the guide).

How do i get my old mini map back at the right corner cuz i clicked YES use carbonite mini map as the only mini map. I want the old back how?

Bring up Carbonite Options.

Select 'Map Minimap' menu on left.

Look for 'Move Minimap into Carbonite map' check box option. I believe it's the one at the top.

Click on it to clear the check box and when asked to Reload UI, click on Reload button.

Done.
