Hello, I know absolutely know barely anything about lasers and as someone quite new to lasers what would you recommend me getting I would like to see the beam enough in the morning and see them of course at night I would prefer a purple laser but blue and green are fine but the reason I want a red one the least is because I have heard they are harder to see in the day light so if you could suggest to me specific models or brand that would be nice also my budget is around $30-$85. @xbxownage In terms of burning ability. They will be the same if they have the same beam width. Red lasers normally have a wider beam which makes them less effective at burning.

@fadilkabbani Sorry for replying to your 4 month old question, but I also want to note that the measured power in mW is the output. So when you go to buy, say a 60w (60 watt) bulb for your lamp, this is not the same at all. 60w of light would be ridiculous for a house lamp. In this case, it's the total power running the light. Most of the energy is heat, and some is converted to light. So yeah, in a way it's not real energy efficient. A laser on the other hand, as I said, is rated only on output

Besides not having safety features such as the lens shutter and everything, is the Spartan a little more dangerous than the hulk and hulk ultra? Because when you shined the spartan near the camera, some of the laser shined in the camera, even though the beam itself wasn't pointing directly at it.

There is no real definition. The legal idea of a high power laser would be anything over 5mW.

You start having burning power at 55-75mW

Range depends on conditions such as pollution and humidity so you can give an exact range to laser beams.

The viper 125mW would have at least 4-5 miles in range. At 50 miles, the beam would be widely spread out and not visible.

The Spartan (smallest one) has the best beam visibility.

Depends on how careful you are and what you are doing.

For example if you are out side pointing at things long range, no need at all.

If you are inside burning stuff and being careful of reflections, no need.

Using mirrors, optics or anything like that, very important to have safety glasses.

mW per dollar the Hulk is better than the Spartan. Keep in mind though that once you get past roughly 200mW, the extra power is not that useful to most people.

At such high power, the Hulk is dangerous to your eyes and some people prefer safety features such as keys.

If you view the beam through a camera, the beam will not damage your eyes but it will ruin your camera.

The IR filter for the Spartan laser is inside the laser casing so when you remove the lens, the IR filter is still working.

The Hulk and Hulk Ultra are different designs so they use different batteries. This gives people a choice between rechargeable batteries that will last for 20-30 minutes and batteries that will last for around an hour.

All our lasers do have an IR filter but the main reason for the expense is we use quality components to make they lasers which cost more so the laser themselves cost more.

Cheap lasers are made with mediocre to poor quality components and their performance reflects this.
