@charcharmunr you know it is actually faster to get ready for new attack if you throw the sword behind your back, move your hand behind your back and as soon as your hand meets the handle, swing again.

It's down to $28 on amazon. Over the last couple weeks it's been $24, and even a one day sale at $15. If you need to pick it up locally, I wouldn't look at Target or Walmart... you'll need to look at a game specialty store. Most Targets or Walmarts don't have any shelf space for a game like this.

It sounds like the names in this game got a bit unoriginal, especially considering they took the name 'Yuri Lowell' from 'Yuri Lowenthal', the voice actor for Luke and Asch in TotA.

Well it could be worse. They could be naming him James or Johnny xD. Besides I like the name Yuri Lowell, even if they did take it from VA Yuri Lowenthal, it sounds good to me. Besides Yuri Lowell is hot and the name suits him *drools*.

Truthfully, I think the names for the characters were created before the voice actors was given their parts. Remember, they have to keep certain aspects of the game true to the creator or they wouldn't have got the license for the Tales of Vesperia to be brought to the U.S.

For Tales of the Abyss, the main character voice actor was Yuri Lowenthal.

Then development for Vesperia began; they named the main character 'Yuri Lowell' in his honor, or something. He mentioned it at a con.

I think they changed it just for the English version, because during the skit Yuri said they called him to apologize, saying, "You can't play any characters in this game since you played two roles in our last game...but we actually called to say sorry. We're sorry because...we named the main character Yuri Lowell."

LOL, that is like a slap in the face though for Yuri, they named a character's name after him and he didn't even get a role in the Tales anniversary game.I really like him as a voice actor though, he could have easily gotten a part in the game because he's an amazing english voice actor and there are few, although surprising the tales of vesperia voice cast was amazing. Usually video games english voice actors are pretty bad like anime english dubs but they really worked hard on the english ver.

You can tell it definitely paid off in the long run. Though, I would've liked for Yuri to have a role in Vesperia, I would've also rather not. His voice is a recognizable one; and I don't want to hear it too many times in different Tales games since I now identify his voice as Luke.

You know some Tales games are the same world but in different time. FOr example Tales of Destin, Symphonia, and Eternia are in the same world but different time.(revealed in Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3) So basically this could be the same world of Abyss but far into the future or it could just be the same world of ALL Tales game.

TotW: isn't cannon to the mothership titles IIRC. Symphonia, Phantasia, and DotnW take place in the same world, as well as Destiny and Destiny 2.
