I do a lot of off roading with my lancer and I have a dust sock over my Fujita intake to prevent dust/water/etc from entering the intake, since you had a lot of snow on your car, i would suggest putting one on especially since you have a cold air intake, their like $15, so protect your car and buy one

Tu n'a pas eu de problème avec l'eau?? Le filtre est en avant du pneu et l'eau est garocher directement sur le filtre puisque pour une raison X ce n'est pas fermer entre le bumper avant et le pneu. J'en ai acheter un mais pas encore installer car j'ai peur de tout bousiller le moteur lorsqu'il pleut...

This is the low pression tire... on my winter tires i didn't had the captors so i had this mesage displayed... nothing to see with the CAI

first what hapen with the garanty and a professional say to me that you have to remove when is begin to snow so anywone know about that please

For the garanty, you would have to ask to your dealership because it depends, some say it's ok some say it's not. However, if you have a problem with your car you could always removethe cai before going.

For the snow, it's thrue and not. I kept it all winter and had no problems at all. However, i put a hydroshield on top of my filter to prevent anything from going in. I wouldn't recommend running a CAI without hydroshield during winter time.

It's a cold air intake ( CAI ) from INJEN specially made for the 2.0 L ingine of the lancer. The cai need to be made for your car or it won't fit.

i don't know for the CAI and the 2,4. u should ask directly to injen. i'm afraid the 2,4 won't have as many pieces then the 2L since all other models are 2L.

for the black it was only a vynil. but it pealed so now i'm getting it paint in black.

i just intalled the samen intake on my 08 lancer. it is awsome. but just one thing, in order to replace the filter, am i going to need to remove the front bumper again? do u know?

you have two choices. You can remove the fog grill in front and remove your hydroshiedl to get it washed. But to remove the filter itself, the easiest way is to remove the wheel on the front driver side and remove the inside of the weel compartement. ( 4 screws. ) and you'll have acces to the filter this way.

Yo Bro,bought it over ebay... Sellers name is clubmustkara. Paid 245 $ for it. Add customs and shipping cost... total around 350 $. Installed it myself so didn't paid anything else... Oh, and get the hydroshield... precious in winter ! TEAMWORK BRO !

No, The GTS come with all red bumper and Chrome Grill ( the one in the middle at the top ) But i changed it for a black grill and i've put a sticker for the middle part of the bumper to have the car look like a EVO X or a Rally///Art
