  • not just animal sanctaries, zoos too. They take great care of their elephants and I know several elephant keepers. Don't confuse Six Flags with a zoo because it is not.

  • The elephants are under supervision of dedicated veteranary staff. The benefit of living in a zoo in middle of northern california is that despite walking in circles for 2 shows a day, better security, traffic, law enforcement, and outrageous gas prices make poaching of elephants in zoos too unprofitable to even be considered. This is the case how walruses (also at six flags) made a natural recovery from endangerment due to Alaska's harsh sea and natural ice berg defenses against unwanted ships.

  • I love elephants; that's why I have to advise everyone to NOT go to Six Flags. They have a long, sad history of elephant neglect and abuse. Many have died prematurely because Six Flags was too greedy to pay for proper care. Don't take my word for it; this info is easy to find online with just a few minute's search. Please go instead to real animal sanctuaries where they don't make the animals perform silly tricks. Again, check it out yourself online. Google "Six Flags animal abuse", etc.
