@iloveskins96 Being from Seattle alone doesnt make a band grunge. Grunge is a derivative of hardcore punk, and not all grunge bands came from Seattle. Alice in Chains was more metal inspired then they were punk, buty they DID have a grunge element in their music.

@Drummerthatismetal Alice, like Tad, and Soundgarden was more metal inspired tha punk, like many other bands in Seattle, this is true, but they did have a grunge element in many of their songs. Such as down in a hole, Rooster, and No Exuses ect. btw, grunge was inspired also by heavy metal bands like black sabbath. AIC would be a perfect exapmle of this. Sure, the wernt full grunge, but to say they werent part of the grunge movemnet, and that there wasnt grunge in any of their songs iswrong IMHO
