coydogroy you should watch the concerto No. 26 performed by Aimi Kobayashi, oh yes, that is perfection, this interpretation by Uchida is very beatiful, but Aimi is really awesome, sometimes I think she's the Mozart reincarnation=D, hahah, maybe not but her interpretation looks well.
?please embelish;what arpeggio's are you talking about?I've unfortunately not seen the score of this piece but if she IS adding arpeggio's that were'nt put there by Mozart himself I agree with you...not is it only annoying but it's PATHETIC.
UNBELIEVABLE.I've NEVER seen a Mozart concerto executed SO perfectly. Not only can she PLAY Mozart but she UNDERSTANDS him;you can tell by her CONDUCTING.Let's not forget the orchestra though;proof that if you have good players you don't need as many;THIS IS LITERALLY WORLD CLASS STUFF.This performance puts my cities orchestra to shame...
@MrWouterpathetique But comparing at about 2:24 of this video (another pianist playing the same piece) on youtube
watch?v=cI3klpWKffM
it seem to be the same, so it doesn't seem like she made a mistake? Or is it me who can't sense the difference between the two.

Why does she play all those arpeggio's. They are not there in the text. So don't play them. It's annoying.

@wouterpathetique Is it possible for you to direct me to the exact timing those (self-added) arpeggio's are played?

Wonderful! With Uchida, this concerto was finally given justice. My favorite ever since I heard it on an LP when I was a child.

In my opinion she's the best Mozart interpreter since Clara Haskil. Her articulation is so perfect...
