Actually the camera car is the repro and the light blue car is a kit car. The Ford GT (camera car) is a modern car with all safety stuff, very heavy over 3,000 lbs. The kit is only about 2300 lbs, no air bags, no bumpers ect. The original car is a GT40, only 102 of them ever built, you won't ever see them on the street.
the repo's these days are not cheap bodies on VW chassis, they are serious race cars costing big bucks! That price between the repo and the GT is probably no so different...
