Ron Paul is NOT to be trusted on eduction. The guy doesn't have even a basic understanding of science. He doesn't even believe in evolution. There's a video clip on youtube of him admitting it. He might as well be saying the earth is flat.

Ron Paul follows the Constitution, that means he does not want to manage education, since the Constitution gives no power to the federal government to manage education.

Since i live with the proof of gravity everyday it would be silly for me to deny it.
As a person who has spent a great deal of time reading, contemplating, and studying several different sciences I find that often times theory cannot be proved or disproved.
Just because I "believe" something to be true does not absolutely make it so. Maybe one needs to establish ones beliefs and differentiate between belief and understanding a theory.
Of course, evolution is a fact as well. Evolution is the idea that populations change with time. That as an irrefutable fact that has been observed many times from the buildup of drug resistance in bacteria to speciation events both in nature and in laboratories.
Hey I don't accept anything as irrefutable fact. I would not call drug resistance in bacteria proof of evolution. I wonder why if this bacteria can evolve to resistance why can't humans? To me this just proves that drug companies do not know enough about life.
The THEORY of evolution is the explanatory framework for WHY populations change the way they do. It is a successful theory rather than just a hypothesis because it has continually made predictions that have been confirmed by repeated testing.

i am a canadian too and have been watching videos on ron paul and his supporters. yes, he is the man that can make a big difference in the usa and around the world. so, i thought the best way to help is to telephone family and friends who are usa citizens and talk to them about ron paul. yes, i've had great success. my husband thinks i should be ron paul campaign manager up here in canada. i do pray that God would preserve ron paul's life!
Ron Paul is bringing people together because he is the only candidate whose policies, principles and ideals would allow Americans to live in freedom, cooperation and peaceful coexistence. He is the only candidate who will not be used to by some Americans to rule, control and rob other Americans. Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands that freedom is the solution to the human condition. This is a whole new ball game. This is not one group against another.

I like the way you explain this. I relate to a lot. I felt the same apathy towards American Politics and have also been moved by Ron Paul. Many Australians are under the impression that the American elections are not going to effect their lives at all. But if America falls, so will the economies of many countries around the world and we will be thrown into a depression like in 1929. Perhaps since then we have learned a few things about survival.
Dude I'd love to make my own video, but I can't. However, I'm an Englishman, and I'm sick of this country acting as a 51st state of America. I do not dislike Americans but the foreign policy of our nations is a disgrace. That small glimmer of hope for Ron Paul is echoed across the pond.

I am usually a very plugged in person and always have been, but Ron puts across the philosophy of liberty so plainly, it's hard to ignore. We know Bush is crooked and evil and we hope he gets impeached soon. But our Congress needs to do their jobs and remove him.
Another Canadian libertarian for Ron Paul! Known about RP since he ran for the LP in 88. Wasn't my idea of an ideal libertarian, but given the choices, he really is the ONLY hope the US has left. Unfortunately, they won't elect RP and I suspect things are only going to get worse.
Don't believe there aren't things you can do waaaaaay up there in Canada (kidding). There have been several mailing campaigns (Canadians could certianly participate in those) and lots of grassroots projects going on that have been asking for donations (just visit some of the Ron Paul forums). I think we'd take Canadian cash just as quickly as American cash. You might not be able to donate to the oficial campagin but there are ways to contribute.
I'm not concerned about it as a Canadian; I don't expect Canada to change much based on US changes. My concern is the world as a whole. I don't think it matters where you live if you're a humanitarian - you see the effect special interest groups have on other countries with a war machine in their back pocket. Paul wants to remove special interests and the war machine.
Plus, Canada becomes involved in many of the entangling alliances that the US does (NATO, UN, WTO, etc...). If Ron Paul got you guys out of these NGO's and IGO's, it would allow Cananda to do the same and get back a lot of our own sovereignty which has been lost to these orgs

Think of all the vast globalist agendas we are both involved in. NAFTA, NATO, etc.. etc.. We all want to be free, and if Ron Paul were to be elected, that would change the political game around the world to some extent. Again, the amount of influence the American political choice in 2008 has on the WORLD in general is unparalleled.
It gives me pause to consider the influence and impact the US has in world affairs. I am saddened that many nations suffer because of what we do. But it scares me to think that the rest of the world has not stepped up to the table and demanded not only fair treatment from the US, but that more governments around the world have failed to secure for themselves the blessings of liberty and freedom for themselves.
The US is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. The constitution guarantees to the people inalienable rights no government may abuse or take away. Democracy is nothing more than the means by which representatives are chosen by the people. This is akin to mob rule, but for the constitution standing in the way. The price we pay for this liberty and freedom is eternal vigilance.
What I find most appealing about the Ron Paul campaign, is the spirit of kindredness: that we are, despite our differences of a similar mind. We are united, as Lincoln said, by "the better Angels of our nature." This is unique to politics, and will have a long echo. For those who had no interest in politics are now leaping from their beds to join the Ron Paul campaign. This is a very good thing, and its essence is one of spirit more than anything else.
Here's the thing about the election of 04. If Kerry had been elected things would not be any different and perhaps even worse (imagine that). Ron Paul is the guy we have all been waiting for! I think the movement is gaining a lot of momentum. Keep watching! The people who say we have no chance are the ones who stand to lose a lot of what they have gained as an elitist. Trust me, there are many reasons to have a revolution in this country. Watch for our national IDs to be issued next May.

Think of all the vast globalist agendas we are both involved in. NAFTA, NATO, etc.. etc.. We all want to be free, and if Ron Paul were to be elected, that would change the political game around the world to some extent. Again, the amount of influence the American political choice in 2008 has on the WORLD in general is unparalleled.

It gives me pause to consider the influence and impact the US has in world affairs. I am saddened that many nations suffer because of what we do. But it scares me to think that the rest of the world has not stepped up to the table and demanded not only fair treatment from the US, but that more governments around the world have failed to secure for themselves the blessings of liberty and freedom for themselves.

The US is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. The constitution guarantees to the people inalienable rights no government may abuse or take away. Democracy is nothing more than the means by which representatives are chosen by the people. This is akin to mob rule, but for the constitution standing in the way. The price we pay for this liberty and freedom is eternal vigilance.

What I find most appealing about the Ron Paul campaign, is the spirit of kindredness: that we are, despite our differences of a similar mind. We are united, as Lincoln said, by "the better Angels of our nature." This is unique to politics, and will have a long echo. For those who had no interest in politics are now leaping from their beds to join the Ron Paul campaign. This is a very good thing, and its essence is one of spirit more than anything else.

Here's the thing about the election of 04. If Kerry had been elected things would not be any different and perhaps even worse (imagine that). Ron Paul is the guy we have all been waiting for! I think the movement is gaining a lot of momentum. Keep watching! The people who say we have no chance are the ones who stand to lose a lot of what they have gained as an elitist. Trust me, there are many reasons to have a revolution in this country. Watch for our national IDs to be issued next May.
