@Dkcarz1 It has a 4 speed manual gearbox but because of its high gear ratios because of the massive amount of power and torque the engine produced, he didn't get into 2nd gear.

Aside from his being a superb driver, Mr. Redman has always seemed to me to be a genuinely warm and likable human being. I remember seeing the footage of him playing with his young daughter in 'The Speed Merchants'..
