  • What's w the hate? I <3 attic cat and so does my lil bro

  • If you want to lose your steering and hit a tree this is the sled for you.

  • ARCTIC CATS SUCK ITS ARCTIC CRAP SKI DOO HAS BEEN THE LEADING INNOVATOR FOR 50 YEARS PLUS AND THERE NOT STOPPING NOW UNDER THE HOOD ON THE TRAIL THERES SKI DOO THEN THERES EVERY OTHER SLED REMMEMBER WHEN IT COMES TO SLEDS THERES SKI DOO THEN THERE IS EVERYONE ELSE

  • Its an arctic cat enough said. why dont you go sit on your piece of shit 4 stroke sled and cry about it. Arctic cat out preforms every sled every year. So sit down and shut up or get a real sled. Arctic cat or DIE.

  • funny how it looks just like a skidoo

  • Cat is the exception, Ride one and then comment!

  • its ok for rich people, when it breaks down watch them dollars burn

  • @1991tommygun you got that right

  • It would be nice to hear how this sled compares to other brands in its class. Most of us want to know whats better between them and all we hear is what we can look up on their website. These reviews are basically useless entertainment that don't do what reviews are supposed to.

  • That Track is way to short

  • 4 strokes suck and artic cats are junk

  • how much

  • looks like artic cat is trying to make their sleds look like yamahas

  • get a better camera????

  • The mountain 1100 turbo sno pro 162" limited is a beast if you are lucky and get one this season you will be so happy you could $hit the bed. I love mine and would only buy the turbo model it has so much power u really better hang on. It gets good mpg so I can ride all day. Only draw back I cracked the left side panel about 10 minutes after I got it rolling it over but no parts falling of this arctic cat yet so im really happy with my white american made arctic cat 1100 turbo "Ferrari "

  • 1100cc for trails? no thanks I'll stick with ski-doo

  • Suzuki motor lol,,That thing is dope.Gotta be the fastest sled on the market..I want one BAD lol..

  • Fucking one litre ski doo eater right there. (1.1L, but whatever.)

  • Its out of focus because the paint job looks like shit. I just picked mine up and you can see the metal right through the white paint on the tunnel

  • How do you get a job testing sleds?

  • oh my goodness wud up with the fucking autistic camera man!!!!!!

  • For the past 11 years SkiDoo has been the #1 selling brand.

Can Arctic Cat beat them this year with this beautiful new line up?

Snowmobile sales increased in North America for 2011.

Keep the upgrades coming and Ill keep buying new machines.

For around $200 a month you can buy a top of the line machine.

NO EXCUSES You clowns with the late 70's and early 80's smokeblowers

  • Hard to watch when numb nutz keeps going out of focus with the camera. Piss off really.

  • I read in a mag that it weighs estimated 550lbs

  • Arctic cat are way better and faster. The xf800 has over a 160 hp

  • why dont they make there own motors is so gay thats why i dont like arctic cat and the new ski-doo e-tec has 155 hp i could sup that e-tec up easy and beat all thoes pices of shit sleds ski-doo and polaris are the best thoes got to be the gayes arctic cats iv ever saw :P

  • @TheMaxpolaris actually the arctic cat f1100 *turbo makes 170, the ski doo ETEC makes 164*not turboed lol i find it hilarious that even WITH the displacement advantage 4 strokes have and now even aspiration advantages (stock) that 2 strokes still have a better horsepower to weight ratio lol

  • @ArchieBunker11 It's just simple pyhsics. Two strokes will always make more power.

  • Comment removed

  • @machz111 That's great but it still doesn't change the laws of physics. A two stroke of the same cc is capable of producing more power, more sudden response (harder hit) and will always be lighter. You can't change physics.

  • @machz111 And don't forget you are comparing an 800 to a 1000 turbo. Like I said all things being equal the 2 stroke will always be capable of producing more power than a 4 stroke of equal cc. Compare apples to apples. If the four stroke is turbo'd you have to compare it to a 2 stroke of equal cc that is also turbo'd (or that has the same mods).

  • @SCROGY the Laws of physics is that there are more moving parts in a 4 stroke and they are much less powerful than a 2 stroke with the same cc's and a lot heavier. That is a fact, but durability and emissions is what is driving the 4 stroke market, and the fact that they all are getting much faster with time. And I can tell you one thing, these newer sleds, and I am talking about all the 4 stroke brands, feel much lighter than they were just a few years ago

  • @machz111 Oh I have no doubt that 4 strokes are getting better. But with direct injection, 4 strokes lose ground in efficiency. In fact Ski Doo's E-tec is nothing new. Honda developed an engine called the EXP-2 stroke back in the late 80's. It had a two stroke cases and cylinder but had a head with two valves. One shot raw fuel and one shot raw air into the combustion chamber. They raced it once in the Baja 1000 and it disappeared off the face of the earth. It was so efficient that it....

  • @machz111 ..... didn't even need an expansion chamber on the exhaust pipe because unburned fuel was negligible. There weren't enough unburned gases exiting the pipe to require an expansion chamber. Four strokes were forced on us by the shit bag environmentalists. So naturally 4 stroke technology advanced quickly in the last ten years. Two stroke technology would have advanced just the same (Thanks to Ski Doo it has). Fortunately some companies haven't given up on two strokes.

  • @SCROGY I Agree with that. I do love the sound of 2 stroke motors but I do not miss the smoke. Unfortunately skidoo has a patent on their smoke free 2 strokes so no other company can use that technology, they have no choice but to change. Yamaha is the only brand that has gone all 4 stroke, and because of the tree huggers the others will follow suit. we may be the last generation that gets to enjoy this sport if they continue to get their way, we lose trails every year because of their nonsense!

  • @SCROGY Ride a new one then let me here you comment, I believe you will change your mind. All my 2 stroke buddies hate my sled until they ride it, and then they ALL agree it is MUCH better than their sleds!

  • @machz111 What sleds are we talking about here?

  • @SCROGY 2012 f1100 turbo

  • @machz111 So you're comparing a turbo'd 1100 four stroke to a non turbo 800 two stroke? Do you not see the problem here? Drop a turbo on that 800 and see how things work out. Things would be somewhat more even if you turbo the 800, and the 800 will still be giving up 300 cc.

  • @SCROGY What problem?? I payed $9800 for the 1998 Mach and put over $3000 to get it to just under 200hp, for about $3500 more I could put a turbo on the Mach. I payed $11000 for the 2009 Z1 and put $2000 to get it to $290hp. that is about the same amount of cash 11 years later for a MUCH better handling sled.. I can ride 300 miles a day on the Z1 and be ready for more the next day, I do 100 on my Mach and I am done for a few days. No problems here, I can care less about the cc's

  • @machz111 First the Mach is 11 years older meaning it hasn't benefitted from the 11 years of R & D the Z1 has. You're comparing apples to oranges. Would you compare your 2009 Z1 to a 2020 sled 11 years from now? Of course not. We were talking about horsepower, and weather two of four strokes were faster/better, not about the various technological advantages your 11 year newer Z1 has over the Mach. You are creating a strawman argument here.

  • @SCROGY I think the 800 would kick the 1100's ass with a turbo on it, but it would be much less reliable. Melt downs would be guaranteed! I have melted my 800 down several times already with NO turbo on it, just the nature of the beast. By the way, the 1100 motor is completely stock, just boost controller, muffler and meth injector!

  • @machz111 How do you figure? The more moving parts something has on it the less reliable it is. That's a part of basic quality engineering that can't be denied. In fact it's in the first chapter of Concepts of Reliability. Assuming both engines are making the same horsepower the two stroke should last longer. No valves, No cams, no springs, no timing chain/gear. If you've melted your 800 down it's likely either your fault or a bad design that has nothing to do with basic reliability.

  • @SCROGY I guess you did not understand my post. I have owned BOTH, 2 and 4 strokes. I put THOUSANDS more into the 2 stroke for power and maintenance than the 4 stroke. I don't care what you think about "basic quality engineering that can't be denied. In fact it's in the first chapter of Concepts of Reliability"

All I know is that this is the most bullet proof, cheapest hp sled ever. Even if it does not make sense to you it is the facts. All I have replaced on this sled in 3 years is 3 belts!

  • @machz111 Then you're an exception to the rule.

  • @SCROGY In the Michigan U.P. I can roll up to one of those 10 mile+ long straits, I can hold the Z1 to the bar at nearly 135 mph for the whole length, Try that with a 2 stroke. My 2 stroke buds hate going up there with me because it is NO contest. I am waiting all the time for them like they are a bunch of rookie riders, and they are far from that. Its not me being a better rider, it is my better handling overpowered sled lol. My stock 2012 f1100 is better handling and nearly as fast as the Z1!

  • @machz111 We weren't talking about handling. That's irrelevant to the point of which engine type makes more power per cc. No matter what, if you take the SAME sled and drop in a two stroke of equal CC, you will have a lighter sled with more power. This just can't be logically denied. If you want to compare a 11 year older 2 stroke sled to a modern four stroke then it's obviously apples to oranges. I don't know why you would even do that.

  • @machz111 BTW: This is why 250cc four strokes were allowed in the 125cc supercross class in the AMA and 450 four strokes were allowed in the 250cc supercross class. It's not fair to the four stroke unless it has double the cc.

  • @ArchieBunker11

Two strokes are no doubt awesome. Anytime anyone claims to do anything cool on a yamaha though its boosted (add at least $3,000 to an already expensive toy). I like that Cat caught on and is doing that from the factory. How often do you get a warranty on a turbo sled?? I think its terrible they stopped making the 1000 two stroke though. I mean they already have factories that make the parts. Why not offer both?

Dream motorcycle involves a 440 and an enduro frame.. :)

  • Fast maybe durable Probably not polaris all the way for sure

  • The xf 1100 turbo sno pro is 90 pounds heavier than the xf 800 sno pro. It looks like it has more top speed but the 800 is better to maneuver. If you put a turbo on the 800 it would have so much more horse power than the 1100 turbo.

  • Is the 1100 turbo really that much quicker than the 800? I mean the turbo only has about 15 more hp and weighs 50lbs more. I know the turbo has about 125 ft lbs of torque but I'm not sure what the 800 has.

  • The 4-stroke isn't heavy at all compared to the 800's

  • haha its not a suprise to me that arcticat would slowly steal skidoos up right forward seating they came out with in 2003 arcticat started it with there race sled and now they are turning there trail sleds into heavy heavy heavy skidoos lol with more power too

  • 4 stroke?

  • its a twin not a triple!!!!!!

  • Pretty sweet lookin ride, kind of reminds me of a yamaha phazer or nytro!

  • Actually, compare these new Arctic Cats to the Yamaha Apexs and vectors and those style Yamaha sleds, they both have the too long gay a-arms, I like all Arctic Cats before this style, hopefully they change them in a couple of years!

  • i wish the focus would fuck off

  • @trevormacintosh I thought it was my eyes.

  • Ever notice how Arctic Cat and Polaris are making their sleds look more like Ski-Doo? I'm just sayin'

  • @Spartan029x lmao.

  • this sled is gayy looks like a XP lame and sleds are not freekin dirtbikes or cat holy cat ppl

  • Like how they talk about torque... Why doesnt this ppl ride diesel engines?

  • kind of looks like artic cat is copying the polaris rmk design for the hood.

  • Fourstroke is in my opinion not for snowmobiles. Double the weight on engine + higher cost on maintenance (if you are not a touring kind of guy and just change oil). Also a huge cost when you either cook it because your are stuck and running the motor hard or running on the higher revs for too long.

I mean the way you ride a dirtbike, car or any other fourstroke cannot compare to a sled in the snow. Constant HIGH resistance on engine + alot of full gas. I give it 20 hours before valve rebuild.

  • @peterpunch1 Lol ur dumb

  • Comment removed

  • @machz111 i'm sure you have.

  • @machz111 thats how we know your a douche, theres many of these coming to shops with 18 miles on em with seized up motors and no more reverse lol TERRIBLE SLEDS theyre ok on a lake.. way too heavy for the best parts of sledding. plus 2 strokes are efi now too so there is no power loss, so the power to weight ratio is still way better on a 2 stroke. plus NO maintenance, and no taking it to the shop every x amount of hours for a shitty service just for warranty

  • @ArchieBunker11 Don't be a hater. There are some of these having issues just like every other brands first year run. I have heard of the reverse issue (there is a recall on them for a fix) but motors blown???? I don't think so. I have an 09 boosted 290 hp on meth with over 3000 miles of HARD long miles and many miles of full throttle pulls and this motor is bullet proof. don't cry when you start getting your ass handed to you by these new cats, because trust me you will!

  • @peterpunch1

Yamaha's and Ski-Doo's four strokes are doing fine. Why would Cat's be any different?

  • @peterpunch1 so wrong, I have had 3 two stroke sleds blow up trying to keep up with me. 4 strokes have came a long way and are the future of snowmobiles. If they were so bad the manufactures would stop making them. But because they are becoming so dependable and powerful they are here to stay.

  • They are cheaper in the long run when you consider oil and gas usage, I change oil once a year for around 40 bucks, and I get a15 miles per gallon on a highly modded sled and only needs a valve adjustments every 5000 miles. I never fowl plugs My 2 stroke gets 10 mpg and uses $40 in oil after every 3 tanks of fuel. Top end rebuild at 3000 miles, new set of plugs every 3 to 500 miles. add it up!

  • another thing is i spent around $3500 to squeeze 40 more horsepower from my Mach z, I spent around $2000 to add 120 hp to my Z1, Cheapest horsepower I ever bought!!

  • @machz111 You do realize that it's likely because the two stroke was closer to it's peak potential power than the four stroke right? What is the cc of the Mach Z?

  • @SCROGY 800 mach z

  • The spedo gauges need to be updated. Arctic Cat's Reliability issues need to be dealt with.

But if you buy a new sled each year...This is the one to buy!

  • rmk pro! thats it!!

  • Wow... get a new guy on the fucking camera.. It's like you zoom in so we can see it up close, then OH WAIT! PHYCHE! JK BRAHHHH!!!

  • I love what arctic cat has done with this years sleds. can't wait to get on one. watching the test drive on lake of the wood really gave me an itch! polaris better watch out

  • Personally, i would have added more bluring effect to the video!!!WTF

  • this is to TODDLUNGMAN68........If you would pull yr head out of your ass and listen he said 1100 turbo not 1100 triple....listen next time...

  • Seer that's the problem with arctic cat there to fucking stupid to do anything smart like polaris did with the rush so arctic cat just puts tons of hp when the fuck are u going to n

  • @xWaNgDaNgx i have a 230hp arcticcat that i ride daily fuck polaris

  • @xWaNgDaNgx Polaris's Rush was a dumd looking sled that handled horrible in the rough. Too much dialing in for every different terrain. Cats came out of the box this year and are rivals to Skidoo it looks like. I wouldn't consider that stupid but genius! Polaris is the ones with thier head stuck up thier ass and they've had it there for around 6 years now. They had a winner on the track but it never made it to consumers. AC has made the new 2012's light and fast like Skidoo. We'll see...

  • @kertbert1 you are a retard the polaris rush looks better than this and anybody that has half a brain would know that the rush handles amazing...................it amazes me how stupid some people are!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xWaNgDaNgx the rush is the ugliest thing iv ever seen well besides yamahas

  • @TeamArctic24, ever seen yourself in the mirror? Bet that desides it!

  • @TeamArctic24 your a fuckin idiot the arctic cat is a good sled but its still ugly as shit

  • See th

  • pretty sure this is a XF not an F

  • Please lose the Focus - Out of Focus 'technique'

  • tree catcher front end better stock up on A-arms i can see these being bent easy..Wow they stick out

  • How much does it weigh?

  • @kertbert1 Arctic Cat hasn't released the dry (or wet) weight of the F1100 and we haven't had a chance to weigh it ourselves.

  • @snowmobiledotcom

weights have been released 549lbs for the turbo xf and 529 for non t xf

  • @kertbert1 the XF1100 Turbo Sno Pro weighs 548 pounds

  • @ChaseTylerA Have a SnoPro F800 snowchecked. 454 lbs! Looks like they have been measuring up skidoo's and have hit the bulls eye pretty close. I loved the Turbo 1100 but I'll be stuck a couple times so... Thanks for posting I love this type of early info!

  • @kertbert1 The weight of the 2012 AC F1100 T is 549 and no turbo is 518

  • @kertbert1 about 550 dry

  • @kertbert1 ive herd they sheded 20 to 30 lbs from the other style

  • @articat225 90lbs

  • @kertbert1 100 lbs less than last year

  • @kertbert1 dry weight 559 lbs

  • @hodopoo D&D says 18 lbs lighter with straight pipe. Friends tell me power feels wicked with the new chassis. I'm still waiting for tunnel protectors so I can take it in for the recalls. Then I'll put my wraps and boondocker 2.0 on. With straight pipe it isn't very loud. Turbo makes it quiet. Blow off valve sounds wicked.

  • @kertbert1 about as much as a half ton pickup
