You shouldn't have to wait too long, they are on the final stages right now. It'll be out before the month is over, I'm fairly sure.

Also, I'm sure they will animate this eventually, but that won't be til 2009. And, if Higurashi is any indacation, they'll leave out a lot of stuff anyway.

You can get three chapters scanlated from Gaku Gaku Animal Land (sadly no developments yet until chapter 4, but I can't wait for it!) and I downloaded the game from deadfrogs torrent (and side note: I'd love to see someone to cosplay as Kanon, he's my favorite character next to Rosa and Maria)
