Honeywell bought my employer and it was the worst ever happend to the employeed!!
This company is like mafia! In Germany my hometown get no taxes anymore because finance is now in Swiss. There is no "betriebsrat" and the employeed are scared. Better back to GDR than working for Honeywell in FRG.
New grad accepts job at $35 per hour. Works 40 hours first week and following week gets notified by manager that it is expected to put in 50 hours per week.
Employee puts in extra hours expecting it to show up in paycheck. Guess what? Paycheck only reflects 40 hours! WTF? Employee checks with HR and gets rude awakening: it is Honeywell policy to not pay overtime but CHARGE the customer the overtime ANYWAY!!! Way to go Honey!
1. Customer pays for engineer to take 1st class, round trip flight to Belgium. Pays for 1st class hotel and meals. Honeywell books engineer on coach, registers him/her on roach motel and pockets the difference! Way to go!
Everything is not made in mexico, they have huge factories accross the USA and Russia. They are a 36Billion Dollar company with competitive wages and compensation packages accross the world. Also, they do have some stuff in mexico but thats the same for almost every other country in the world. They are a worldwide company. and they do not believe in poor worksmanship or underpaying.

@666honeywell - not paying overtime is only legal if the employee is salaried (exempt). which is usually the case for college grads.
