  • The very definition of "help" means to aid someone in good actions the person is willing but can not do due to whatever reason.

In Zimbabwe we have the opposite case: people keep supporting ZANU socialism, while destroying their industry, agriculture and social services. In parallel they keep asking for help. Help in doing what exactly? In providing them with food so that they could continue pillaging remaining white farms and businesses and keep voting socialism.

    Let them rot.

  • Zimbabwe is believed to be the only country in the world that now carries out routine financial transactions in dizzying set of quadrillions - one quadrillion is a 1 with 15 zeros behind it, or 1 000 000 000 000 000.

  • Today is a sad day..I regret to announce Tsvangirai's withdrawal from elections. This may have been the best choice for the livelihood of MDC supporters but I also believe that Mugabe will continue to punish the opposition despite the withdrawal. Sadly, this is why intervention is necessary; without weapons, a cause can only go so far against greedy and evil interests. While peace may be the ultimate goal that we all strive for, all seekers of freedom have had to pay with some sort of sacrifice.

  • When defeated You have not yet won the war. When alone you have friends. When you are unsure there is certainty all around you. When devastated, your tears will grow your crops. With every breath, your endurance makes you stronger. With this message, we are ALL with you.

  • I hope for Zimbabwe: A fair election, no Mugabe, peace, no lack of work and food..

  • I grew up in BYO was last there 1999 - cost Z$4000 odd to fill up a car now the cost is close to 1000 times what it was then. Sad.

Mugabe epitomises the intention behind the usage of that horrible word which begins with a "K"

  • Just another US lead campaign for regime change cost thousands, if not millions of deaths. The reason for the hyperinflation was that the US got everyone to refuse Zimbabwe loans and the IMF would not allow an arrangement like it does for every other country. And people say we are the solution. Hilarious. Problem, Reaction, and Solution. Works every time.

  • Exactly how did the US "got everyone to refuse Zimbabwe loans" that Zimbabwe has no way of paying back???

  • i weep everyday for zimbabwe. was such a beautiful country. such a fantastic place. i found it better than some first world places. but its only because of the zanu-pf. and the world sits on their hands and cares more about britney spears and whether angelina can adopt a child from africa. total hogwash.

  • Mugabe and his cronies are some of the wealthiest in the world - they still get the 'official' exchange rate of $ZIM250 per $US on the international market.

This tyrant does not seem to have a successor. Hopefully things will get better again when he stops paying his thugs - there was once full employment and an export-based economy.

  • Its by Audius,he is a Zimbabwean, based in Australia, the whole album is hot,it was hot in 2003,will giv you more details if you want it

  • do u know what the song's called? lol

  • Wow... That made me cry. I miss that country. Was so beautiful, not perfect, but it was no where near as fucked up as it is now. Damn =[ And to think all my relatives are struggling, because of that stupid man. Heartbreaking. Great post nevertheless, Thank You. I shall show my mommy in the morning and she'll be heartbroken too.

Can I please know the song? Lyrics are touching...

    Bye

  • Go to Zimbabwe right now and see for yourself. Prices can no longer be marked on some items as they(the prices) are continuosly( and I mean continuously) rising. It makes sense to make evaluations in more stable currencies- adjusting for inflation on a case like Zimbabwe's isn't fun- ask any accountant!!!

  • Can you imagine mortgaging a property @ 3200% interest rate....

  • It's absolutely insane...

I hope God helps those people back there. I thank him everyday though that I am away from it all, I don't know how they cope. =[ Siiigh...

    Thanks Again for the post.

  • i've seen it. i was there 3 weeks with a faimily. almsot 100% jobs have been lost. electricity and hydro only on aobut 4 hours a day leaveing families with no water. theres no food in shops,no gas for trasportation, u see thousands of people waiting for more thyen a week for a ride jsut an hour away. kids selling oarnges for schooling, teachers payed 5$ canadain a month. corruptness, and sadness. and boy can i keep on going

  • Using foreign currency is not allowed in Zimbabwe - so I cannot see them doing that - or having the ability to get ahold of pounds or US funds.

  • If mugabe didnt kick the Rhodesians out it wouldn't of been half as bad as it is today. The Rhodesian farmers ran the countrys economy. It was the same with Idi Amen. When he kicked the asians out the country fell apart. The truth is a all countrys are run by a small miniorety. America - Rich politicians/CEO's. Britain - Rich/royalty/nobalilty.

  • Murambatsvina 2: Clean up Mugarbage

  • Thanks for the great video. Forgive the ignorance, what is the soundtrack?

  • Thanks africansunset for this video. Hopefully the right people will see it and try to help the people from Zimbabwe. We all need to help in our own way. Thanks again. Alex

  • I'm Ready To fight. Lets take out mucabe!
