سؤال للعرب متى نصل الى ماوصلوا اليه

  • وداعا للسلالم و الشوارع الوسخه هههههه

  • Dear Santa..

  • to pricey :(

  • If the engine fails..How would you auto rotate?

  • Go Go gadget...

  • Inspector Gadget Man

  • this is real, i've seen one work in japan

  • fake

  • @joshcubbs=dumb. It's patented. It's real. They sell them. The owner is a millionaire.

    You're a schmuck.

  • 3.5M Yen - bout 31k Au give or take

  • try landing that when it gets windy and you are toast

  • top speed 55 miles per hour

  • great machine, but forward speed is insufficient to be of any practical use, it would need a huge tail fin to keep it in line at speed,as some one else said nothing more than a "novelty"..peter

  • Nah, tail fin wouldnt have to be that big. You could get by with putting a smaller fin further away from center (to increase the force acting on the heli) I think a fin maybe a little bigger than the area of a stop sign would suffice at speed. No tail rotor needed because of the counter-rotating blades for directional control, the fin would just be an aid in tracking forward at speed.

  • @Jm42086 I was interested by your comment.

It's always interesting to watch someone go on and on about something they have zero knowledge of.

It's amusing to say the least.

  • @sharpnova2 I'm glad I could amuse you. How about you be constructive and share how my explanation could be more accurate instead of being an ass about it. Thats whats interesting about your comment, your just here to talk shit without contributing in the slightest to the conversation. I am not an engineer nor do I claim to be one.

  • that is the collest thing i have ever seen. bit noisy though.

  • true, but i still want it

  • For all the naysayers, the GEN H-4 pilot only needs an ultralight license. The company is developing a parachute deployment device in case all 4 engines stop plus installing an airbag under the seat for unexpected hard landings. I think it's a great idea. I'd love to be able to fly over the heads of all those schmucks caught in traffic on the freeway. I expect that someday these little one-man helicopters will be zooming all over the place at a much affordable price too.

  • BTW, this video is probably from the Oshkosh show in 1998. On that demonstration flight, the FAA limited its height to 30' because that runway was in use. Estimated height is 10,000 feet with a 185-lb man and 5-gal of gas.

  • Ummm, there's no such thing as an ultralight license......There's the sport pilot license, but that's for autogyro aircraft weighing more than 254lbs. There is a great variety of ultralight aircraft that can be built from kit or scratch such as the bensen type. You don't need any license to fly an ultralight (google "part 103"), go to rotaryforum(dot)com...I personally know people who have trained themselves to fly ultralights(especially bensen types), but I recommend training...

  • What kind of pathetic demonstration is this? 20 feet and 5 mph? If all it can do is hover than it is nothing more than a novelty.

  • Most likely cause of engine stoppage = fuel problem. Fuel problem = ALL engines stopped at once (it has four, can fly on three and can land on two). All engines stopped = 9.81ms^2 downwards, no autorotation, no parachute, no chance. It's cute, but it's a deathtrap.

  • bricology, it would be rediculous to get a helicopter licens for this one cause it flies way different than an average chopper. It is very easy to fly. Maybe a special license could be thought up for it so people don't go fly it without knowing exactly how to.

  • The FAA isn't gonna make this easy to fly, I've no doubt. If they require a heli license (and I don't know why they wouldn't), that means that getting certified is going to cost quite a few thousand dollars and many months of lessons and classroom work. That's UNLESS the manufacturer can get get it to fit regs for the "ultralight" class. Even if they do, that will limit where and when it can be used (daylight only, nowhere near cities or flight-paths, etc.) Wish it were otherwise...

  • you could easily kill your self with that just like the rocket belt but its cool man.

  • How in the hell can this thing cost $6 million? It looks like it takes less parts than a motorcycle. I would guess it's less than $50K at most. It looks very easy to fly as well...not as complicated as a helicopter. Where can I test fly one?

  • it's €20k or $30k

  • I want one.

  • lolz teh future is NOW

  • Endurance is 30 to 60 minutes depending on payload, it has 4 engines so if an engine quits you can keep flying. I'm a helicopter pilot and this is the first personal helicopter I've ever seen that I wouldn't be scared to fly. Japanese built too, so the engineering will be good.

  • Duude I would totally kick ass if I went to college in one these sweet rides- land and strike a Power Rangers slo-mo pose mid-campus!

    Awesomicity factor = 10!

  • ou all are wrong.

The GEN H-4 cost about 30.000 Euros, or about 40.000 Dollars.

At the present it is the cheapest one-man-helicopter.

  • where could i get this helicopter? wheres the dealer?

  • $6,000,000?

    Try US$58,000.

So far only 5 have sold.

  • who said its 6 mil? its less than 50k. just motorcycle engines and the rotor things and the rest. it cant possibly cost over 50k.

  • bad source sry

  • Pretty small fuel tank on that thing....what's the total flight time....30 seconds? Maybe enough hover to get you across a small puddle of water. Very cool gadget, but not very practical.

  • i read its 29,000 USD now. and it takes little over 15 liters per 100km. about same as a medium to big car. can reach 1000meters altitude and 90km topspeed. its somebody's life's work and its not just a toy. im gona get one someday and take to the skies.its the worlds easiest thing to fly too. get 1 urself

  • what is it u ask? It's a future in alternative travel...and it's $58K

  • Let's strap a piece of sharpened metal to our heads and spin it a thousand times per second.

Nothing could possibly go wrong with that plan :P

  • in his defense, its been done a thousand times

  • hahahaha

  • wow! amazing, i want one :D

  • another clone of US ultralight helicopter.

  • cool what is that?
