Good report but CDSs are only the instrument that tipped over this already incredibly unstable system. The true underlying weakness of the financial system is due to the very core of how it operates: the fractional reserve banking system. If an institution can create money out of thin air, then we will always live in a completely imbalanced world. The monetary system itself is what has the whole planet in total crisis.
