it only prints the plastic. Any metal hardware is purchased. This invention is going to revoultionize things. It can print off all of its parts. So you could buy one of these....then print the parts off and give your freind one. In the future products would be free from the web. You only buy the plastic, low temp alloy, and other materials to print them. If you wanted a product you just download and run the code to have it printed. This can print electronics also.

only the gears and the support are printed by the reprap. not the screws. It has been assembled afterwards I guess.
