  • 1:08 What is that?!? Sausage???

  • @TheAlexmurray the evidence is in front of you; all you need to do is look

  • SEASIDE U KNOW

  • But it DID hit the ground. There's no denying that

  • @LegendDomi where does it provide conclusive evidence???????

  • ball hit the ground, you can see the dirt come up when it hits

  • @roobadoob I'm pretty sure that's because his foot was sliding, dumbass

  • c koi la tete du ga au debut

  • grats bucs, you got a great player

  • take good care of him, bucs fans!

  • @ollietheweatherman we will ;)

  • @ollietheweatherman We love him....We promise, we'll use him well. :)

  • Luck- When preparation meets opportunity! Crazy play, very instinctive player though. Glad the BUCS got him in the 3rd round. Fire Those Cannons!

  • Welcome to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!

  • WELCOME to the Bucs brother..look forward to you doing alot of that in Tampa!

  • welcome to the bucs HOLD MY DIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCK

  • Welcome to the Bucs Mr. Foster.

  • So proud he went to my high school.. Seaside forever!!!

  • Go rams!

  • Mason Foster is a man

  • hunneds!!!

    $easide

  • the next rams olb

  • I bet the wide out threw away that shoe...

  • funny

  • two things.... 1st on a high def tv it was very apparent that the ball hit his foot. 2nd by the by the physics of the universe there is no way ball would bounce off the ground that way. it would have continued on it way in the general direction it was thrown... even if it wasnt in a staight line... but the ball which was goin towards the sideline and down. stopped changed directions and popped up in the air...

  • @REXAKAMOOSE i admire your knowledge on the "physics" of the universe but apparently you have never even touched a football before.... even if the ball hit the ground, because of its oval shape it still could have bounced like how it did in the video

  • 1700!!!!!

  • steeles ..... i am a biased observer, and i am 100% sure it doesnt matter if the ball hit the ground. the game is over, and all the crying in the world isnt going to change the scoreboard. Huskies win !!! WOOF.

  • I am a huge huskies fan, so it would be totally fair to call me biased. However, I was sitting in the 3rd row at the EXACT yard-line of this interception, and I saw the ball bounce off his feet. I can see how the instant replays suggest that the tip of the ball may in fact have touched the ground, but as an eyewitness at real-time speed, it was convincing as hell, and I can see why the ref's ruled in the huskies' favor.

  • As an unbiased observer, I am 90% sure that ball hit the ground.

  • Comment removed

  • it hit the ground. you can see turf pellets right where it hit.

  • @roobadoob Yeah, but none of the camera angles offer concrete evidence, so it can't be reversed.

  • it was louder when we beat usc

  • i'm likin' that screen shakin'!

  • I agree completely with bigbusiness88! The USC game was extremely loud, but after we got this pick six we were not just screaming, but banging on everything! We shook the entire stadium!

  • that was the loudest Ive heard husky stadium in years.

  • And thats why Arizona has never been to a rosebowl, they dont have a single goddamn quarterback

  • my nigga mason ah beast! keep doin wuh u do cuzz

  • Washington - 3 Wins, 6 losses

    Arizona - 6 Wins, 2 losses

Bowl Eligibility? Hmmmm, who will it be?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, so Washington beat Arizona...which fans will we see at a bowl game? Gee, I wonder.

  • @iamthegarbageman ya howd that bowl game go?

  • All you guys are sayin how it hit the ground, but none of you are the refs. They were on top of the call and looked at the replay. You dont see me complaining about how the refs screwed us the week before against Notre Dame or how the Seahawks in the NFL were screwed out of Super Bowl XL. Don't be a baby, its 1 regular season game!

  • @seattlewashingtonfan not to burst your bubble but 1 game could decide how the season ends..... so yea

  • @seattlewashingtonfan true, but did you see the dirt spike RIGHT UNDER the ball, sorry for making you see this 2 years later lol

  • @Kpeg9 No, I actually didn't see it. Foster was in the way for a clear view. To me, it looked like a live ball, no doubt.

  • @seattlewashingtonfan its right at 00:52 Look very closely

  • @Kpeg9

    1. that is recycled rubber coming up, not dirt. 2. that came up as the receiver was dragging his feet before the ball hit his shoe. 3. you need a new prescription. ;)

  • who the crap is doug foster

  • Beastttt, He graduated from the High School that I still go to lol

  • thats my dude! get shit bruh! hold it down for seaside man

  • GOHUSKIES!!!

  • Funny how a pass forward could hit the ground and bounce directly backwards. Great call and yes, lucky for the Dawgs.

  • The tip definitely hit the ground right after he swatted it down. It hit the ground, into the shoe, off the shoe into the guys hands.

  • it definitely hit the ground

  • On the replay it looks like the ball hit the ground and his foot.

  • I swear i saw something similar to this in the NFL a couple weeks ago....and the interception did not count.

  • you can definitely see the rubber pellets fly up several inches away from his toe when the ball hits the ground at and toe at the same time (0:54)....didn't notice it while watching the game though.

  • @jibjab144 Have you ever wore cleats!

  • 1:08 hit the ground - drop kick.

  • It hit the ground, no replay in the weak PAC 10?

  • Even if the PAC 10 has replay, they still get it horribly wrong (see Oklahoma-Oregon)...

  • it hit the ground than his foot

  • No it hit the top of his toes...

  • Doesnt matter matter anyway. They got screwed the week before at Notre Dame. They deserved this break

  • Outcome doesn't matter. UW will not make a bowl and Arizona will fight to get into the Poinsettia or Emerald Bowl. Woopie!

  • I can't see the rubber pellets fly up even in HQ. Nice try though. Arizona didn't punt one time the entire game and they choked it off lol. GO DAWGS!

  • at the 54 second mark it looks like it the ground from what IAFFpiper said.

if it did hit the ground on the tip of the ball like it shows why did bounce directly away from the receiver, if it hit the ground the momentum of the ball would have took on the close to the same path in the way the ball was thrown.

it was the correct call - TOUCHDOWN DAWGS

  • Go Huskies! Nice catch off of the FOOT not the ground.

  • It's not conclusive that it hit the ground. And if it's not, then it has to count. Way to go, Mason!

  • I went to school with mason foster. He was really good. He used to be a qb in seaside high. I cant believe he made great play like this.

  • It's kind of hard to tell from the videos... I'm no physics major, but if the football hit the ground, wouldn't it have bounced forward (not backward into Foster's arms)? Amazing luck.

  • right next to me you want to be, til the sun comes up. I bet you aint never seen a pair of these before

  • At the :54 mark, it is clear that the tip of the ball hits the ground. Terrible call!

  • agreed

  • I saw the turf spray a bit. It hit the ground..

  • Comment removed

  • but it could have beeen from the movement of his left foot or the ball......

  • That was, obviously, from his foot when he slid.

  • yeah I definitely saw the turf spray. If you pause it at 1:54, you can see the rubber sand spraying up after it hit it. It wasn't from the foot because it's shooting straight up and it's 2-3 inches away from his foot.

  • i dont know. it sprayed as both simultaneously made contact. to inconclusive.

  • Yup.. ball definitely hit the ground.. but oh well, nothing they can do now

  • Completely inconclusive from the video. Great job by the replay officials. Too bad the Big East replay officials don't understand the rule.

  • Toes of his right foot. Excuuuuuse meeeee!

  • His right foot trips and get's caught behind his left foot. The ball hits his hand then hits the toes of his left foot kicking the ball into the air. No ground involved. Just lick your wounds and come back next week.

  • if it had hit the ground tire tread would have sprayed. It didn't!

  • EXACTLY!

  • Lets see Sport Science recreate this one! lol

  • If it had bounced off the TURF, the turf beads would have been in the air under the ball.

  • 1:07-1:08 clearly hit the ground. soooo pissed about this game

  • At 1:07 you can see it clearly hit off the top of his shoe. Still bullshit luckbox win. Fuck Mike Stoops, what a dumbfuckpieceofshit throwing the ball on 1st down with under 3 minutes left and the lead. Bring back Mackovic.

  • take this shit down the ball hit the dirt and should no have been a Interception

  • I have to agree...looks like the ball hit the ground to me.

  • Every video image thus far has been inconclusive. Physics tells us that it HAD to hit his shoe to bounce like that. This we all know. The black splash could have just as well been from the ball hitting his foot and the foot causing the fill to pop. What AZ fans need to learn is what the Huskies learned at Notre Dame: let a team hang around close and you deserve what you get.

  • "UW deserves a win like this after the way they suffered through last season. "

AND the way they suffered through the replay crap last week at Notre Dame!

  • scottep78, at 0:54, watch a few times in full screen high def, and pause it, there IS a splash of black from football hitting the ground, a couple of inches in front of the shoe, it appears after all dark marks from the shoes have died out ... at 1:07 ball hits the ground, the shoe the ball is in front of is at 90 degrees to ground, other angles show shoe is not long enough to be under the ball ... replay refs need hi quality full screen video so they can see black marks that show ground impact

  • Winners find a way to win and losers find a way to lose.

  • The ground up black rubber that lies in the turf did not bounce into the air when the ball bounced into the air, that is evidence enough for me.

Notice the rubber getting kicked up by the same foot the ball ends up hitting, just prior to the ball getting there. Whenever the ball skips or bounces off the field, there is a visible "splash" of this rubber. It just didn't happen. Sorry AZ fans.

  • Comment removed

  • it was inconclusive, the right call was made by the officials... arizona fans stop bitching, maybe in another 1,000 years you'll win a national title.

  • P.S. Foles likes male genitals

  • i dont care what you gotta say, at least he was a smart heads up player and was watching the ball long enough to grab it. thats not luck

  • hit the ground and shorthopped up off his shoe, bullshit play, but AZ couldn't convert in the red zone, all around shit storm

  • Clearly off the foot; a ball doesn't bounce backwards/change direction like that coming off the turf. GO DAWGS!

  • Inconclusive! That is all the huskies needed. Good thing it wasn't the Big Least replay officials on this one!!!! Same as the husky game last week (confirmed and apologized by the refs!) this was inconclusive.... Call on the field stands. Tough way for Zona to lose, they played well in that game. Going to the well one too many times killed them.... Bubble screen!!!!!!!

  • The ghost of Marquis Cooper returns to Husky Stadium!!???

  • And they still won, which is all that matters!!!!

  • you can talk shit and say we suck but in the end the huskies still won the game and thats what matters...and if you watched the game, the refs made shitty calls for both sides

  • yes we lost but i and everyone knows who the better team was. UDUB got pounded in pretty much every category and that will get us to a bowl game the only thing UDUB will accomplish this year is one more win against WSU.

  • Yep, we know who the better team was. Psssst... It's the team with the higher score at the end of the game :-)

UW tried to give you that game so many times... muffed punts, dropped kick off returns, many easy plays on the outside... and yet they still won. Says more about AZ than just a freak interception.

  • antonio go back to mexico u fucking illegal leech!! get the fuck out of my country!!!

  • That is extremely inappropriate and I don't want some racist asshole like yourself arguing on the behalf of my school. Joking or not, this comment is uncalled for.

  • go cry me a river buddy! im not gonna let some lazy low life like that tell me to leave this country i was born here with a spanish name and making something of myself if you got something else to tell me go for it like i give a fuck

  • ? im racist?? muahhahah what racist term did i use... tell me im waiting

  • ??? im inappropriate and i get called nigger?? he probably is a dumbfuck illegal immigrant... which is why he has to resort to calling me names and speaking spanish in is stupid ass videos.

  • Guess I don't feel so bad for your team now.

Good teams can beat bad teams most days, but great teams play hard and find a way to win. This is what seperates the teams at the top from the second tier. Given what I saw I'm not sure I'd put AZ even in the second tier.

  • antonio- go burn in hell u leech racist...

  • yeah keep typing your bullshit you ignorant ass nigger. Funny how my english is top notch yet im being called a border hopper by an ignorant jackass here. Your making UDUB look bad dumbass just do us all a favor and shut your mouth.

  • u getting mad over this and calling me racist names over and over just proves ALL MY POINTS CORRECT XD

  • But ok im a blonde border hopper that is currently enrolled in college.

  • And apparently im resorting to spanish lol unbelievable how stupid you are natedawg.

  • Only in the second half, Antonio. Was a pretty close game for the first two quarters. UW gave it away on the two bad punts and muffed kickoff in the second half.

  • The second replay shows that it hits off the toe of his shoe. VERY, very close. I can see why someone would think it hit the ground from the side angle. But the angle @ 1:04 is the best and it proves it bounced off his foot.

  • Wow. The ball clearly did bounce off of the receivers foot. That is just so improbable, with such a crazy small margin of error, it is hard to believe. One centimeter in either direction and it would have been impossible to catch that ball.

  • Regardless, the play was reviewed and there was no conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field, which was the correct call. Arizona dominated time of possession and marched on almost every drive. However, when you do as bad as Arizona did in the redzone and leave the huskies in the game anything is possible. Also, black pellets fly up from the players cleats as well, so there is little evidence to support the argument that the pellets flying in the air were solely from the football.

  • Someone please explain the physics involved here. Foles threw a pretty good spiral out there which means the force required to send the ball up into the air the opposite direction is more than what the turf could muster IMO. It hit his fit squarely which is why the ball popped backwards.

  • I agree that it hit the shoe, not the turf, or at least looked that way on the frame by frame slow motion; however the front of the spiraling ball clearly hit the receivers hand first turning the ball so that the back end of the football is what hits an object. It hit his foot, but did rear point of the football hit the ground as well? It isn't really a question of physics.

  • callin this the IMMACULATE INTERCEPTION! go huskies!

  • That ball clearly DID NOT hit the ground. LOL Cats suck again.

  • look at the slow motion replay buddy

  • Ahahahahaha.

  • What an incredible comeback. Seaside represent (Mason)!!!

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best plays in recent Husky memory! Giddyup!
