I've been bullied since I switched to public school in 2nd grade. I'm in now 8th. I got bullied at my 8th grade prom. So I actually yelled at the person to shut the f*** up and the all wooed and aww. Then he called me a b****. I flipped him off and he told that was the wrong finger. So I flipped him off again, called him a dumb a** and walked off. For other reasons as well that was the worst dance of my life. I went home and cut my arm up really bad. Then again today along with my leg.
Very true! It took over twenty years of my life to come to the same conclusion. I was different, and there was no reason for me to feel inferior to other people. Actually it was not me but them acting like idiots. I was also sent to psychologists a couple of times, and they said everything was OK with me. It wasn't! Unfortunately there were no one around me able to understand the problem and give a professional help...

Was bullied physically in preschool whatever you call it, around age 6.
I was much shorter and spoke better than the others so they ganged up and ground me on the ground sorta thing, there was blood. Only had 2 semi-friends. Was terrified everytime I went there and constantly on the lookout. Teachers denied it and didnt help. During one of the breaks I didnt go back into class and hid in the grounds, they got really worried, came looking, but only to save their own asses.

Omg I hate everyone at my school!! They all laugh at me when I get hit by some jock. When they found out I cut my new nickname was changed from "Faggot" to "Emo Faggot." I was bullied in middle school. I was called all kinds of names and had things thrown at me all the time. But, when I went to high school that all changed. It's funny, well not really funny, but most of the kids who bullied me are either in gangs or jail. Karma's a crazy thing!
Sounds a lot like me in school. But things weren't so bad after I started doing the goth thing, because people were kinda scared of me. The girls at my church (who were popular at my school) treated me kind of like a fascinating zoo animal. You know, just something that can make you unique by association without having to be unique yourself. It was very strange, but it gave me a lot of time to read. I think books are a lot more interesting than my peers anyway.
i can completely relate about the bullying over being quiet & stuff. i was really quiet up until like 2yrs before i finished school then really came out of my shell & the bullying stopped.
@HesDaOnly14Me thats like me too. i was really quiet especially in grades 8 & 9 after i moved. no one would talk to me. they would only bully me. i was bullied all through elementary school as well but not near as bad as junior high, (grades 8 &9). in high school i completely came out of my shell and was a different person. most of the people who had bullied me went to other schools so i got to start fresh with school and it was alot better.

You help probably hundreds of people just through your videos (which is nothing short of amazing) AND you've published a book! I've been picked on since Pre-K For no reason. Its idiotic. I was always different, and therefore singled out.
I eventually went to an alternative school for 10th-12th grade, and graduated. And then came back on graduation day, with everyone saying 'OH! Where were you!' and Blah blah. But simply put, they forgot about me.

Kids can be the cruelest members of society. It makes me wonder how they were brought up. It never even crossed my mind to torture some like what you've experienced. I was teased a lot, too, because I was insanely shy so they thought I was stuck up. Now, to me this makes absolutely NO sense b/c whenever someone would talk to me, I would gladly speak to them & I considered myself to be nice. Lots of people did not like me because I was smart & shy. :(
I really don't understand people sometimes, I was bullied since I was about 7 because I was fat all the way 'til about 13. I'm 15 now and not bullied as such, but people always find it funny to mock me. I don't know why they do it, but I honestly think most people are like that in general. I was really shy as well slightly social phobic towards people it made it easy for people ti bully me as well. I was bullied in middle school more than anything. Soon after I started sticking up for myself and being more open. Now Im not shy nor bullied. Forget those types of people, they will only have hs as their good times
I find myself unable to comment. In the past few months I've thought quite a lot about being bullied. I was bullied at home and had the crap beaten out of me in school. This is the first time since I became "plugged in" that I cannot talk about what happened. I cannot live with these memories.

Damm caracters limit in comments lol. So yeah, i don't have money for now, yeah our family got some money problem because for various reason that i could tell you maybe tommorow lol. Also i've got bullyed a lot at school cuz i was skinny before and aat the "secondaire"(My eng suck haha) because i was fat. Now i'm like 190 i think, no more belly, i feel very happy about that. Maybe it's because i completly stopped my meds, i feel more depressive sometime but i have lot more energy.

I have an eating disorder as the result of bullying. When I was 14, a popular, attractive, and very thin girl convinced me I was fat when in reality, I was "normal". She'd go get ice cream with our mutual friends and not invite me. When I'd ask why, she'd say, "Oh, it's because I care about you. You're so overweight; I don't want you to get diabetes." Now, I'm three inches taller and eleven pounds lighter. It's completely destroyed my self-image.

Was bullied physically in preschool whatever you call it, around age 6.
I was much shorter and spoke better than the others so they ganged up and ground me on the ground sorta thing, there was blood. Only had 2 semi-friends. Was terrified everytime I went there and constantly on the lookout. Teachers denied it and didnt help. During one of the breaks I didnt go back into class and hid in the grounds, they got really worried, came looking, but only to save their own asses.

Omg I hate everyone at my school!! They all laugh at me when I get hit by some jock. When they found out I cut my new nickname was changed from "Faggot" to "Emo Faggot." They even went as far as beatin me with a 2x4 in the park. They even beat up my bf just becuase he liked me, now he's no better than them. They and my father are my sources for my discontent and suicidal thoughts. I also can't name how many times Ive had to wash my own blood from my clothes before my mom got home. life sucks!

I was bullied in middle school. I was called all kinds of names and had things thrown at me all the time. But, when I went to high school that all changed. It's funny, well not really funny, but most of the kids who bullied me are either in gangs or jail. Karma's a crazy thing!

Sounds a lot like me in school. But things weren't so bad after I started doing the goth thing, because people were kinda scared of me. The girls at my church (who were popular at my school) treated me kind of like a fascinating zoo animal. You know, just something that can make you unique by association without having to be unique yourself. It was very strange, but it gave me a lot of time to read. I think books are a lot more interesting than my peers anyway.

@HesDaOnly14Me thats like me too. i was really quiet especially in grades 8 & 9 after i moved. no one would talk to me. they would only bully me. i was bullied all through elementary school as well but not near as bad as junior high, (grades 8 &9). in high school i completely came out of my shell and was a different person. most of the people who had bullied me went to other schools so i got to start fresh with school and it was alot better.

I think it is ridicolous to not to invite you, cause you were a part of it and I think in every class the students pick one victim and they are strong as long as they are part of a group. What a shame. And you are definitely NO loser at all!!!

Yeah, I was bullied a little bit. Mostly just taunting though and it didn't have anything to do with SI for me either. I didn't have it as bad as you it sounds like, I never got dunked in snow I was too hard to get a hold of.

Your former classmates should absolutely be ashamed of themselves! But while they've grown into small and nasty people, you've accomplished so many things, don't you think? You help probably hundreds of people just through your videos (which is nothing short of amazing) AND you've published a book! Kids gave me a hard time at school too and while my life may not be perfect, I've risen above the hell the gave me and done a lot more as a person than they ever will. Different IS definitely good!

Even if they were to have a HS reunion, I doubt I'd go. Those people wanted me dead back then, and didn't care. They havent contacted me. Why should I go back, and interact?
I've been picked on since Pre-K For no reason. Its idiotic. I was always different, and therefore singled out.
I eventually went to an alternative school for 10th-12th grade, and graduated. And then came back on graduation day, with everyone saying 'OH! Where were you!' and Blah blah. But simply put, they forgot about me.

Kids can be the cruelest members of society. It makes me wonder how they were brought up. It never even crossed my mind to torture some like what you've experienced. I was teased a lot, too, because I was insanely shy so they thought I was stuck up. Now, to me this makes absolutely NO sense b/c whenever someone would talk to me, I would gladly speak to them & I considered myself to be nice. Lots of people did not like me because I was smart & shy. :(

I really don't understand people sometimes, I was bullied since I was about 7 because I was fat all the way 'til about 13. I'm 15 now and not bullied as such, but people always find it funny to mock me. I don't know why they do it, but I honestly think most people are like that in general. I know for a fact I've never been a bully, but in life you either bully or get bullied. You're so brave sharing your stories!

I was bullied for years on end, everyday, I could go into detail but nothing in report will ever explain accurately enough the effects it had. I know I am bigger and stronger now but I would do anything to have an opportunity to go back and explain to them just how shit they made my life and how shit my made my years in school, college and beyond. You're no loser, precious. Look where you are now... an author and a spokesperson. And you're individual, which I think is one of the most important qualities even if it is perceived otherwise.
Unfortunately, even as adults, society has a way of stigmatising those who don't fit into a ridiculous definition of normality. I still get flak from employers and even health professionals because I have Asperger's Syndrome and am not particularly social... shy. I just hope society improves, UK & US.

I was really shy as well slightly social phobic towards people it made it easy for people ti bully me as well. I was bullied in middle school more than anything. What kept me from being bullied after a while tho was I would end up getting into a fight with that person, eventually enough fights got me left alone. Soon after I started sticking up for myself and being more open. Now Im not shy nor bullied. Forget those types of people, they will only have hs as their good times

I find myself unable to comment. In the past few months I've thought quite a lot about being bullied. I was bullied at home and had the crap beaten out of me in school. This is the first time since I became "plugged in" that I cannot talk about what happened. I cannot live with these memories.
