Your argument for not getting fired for absolutely sucking at your job is that it would cost money? That is the exact same argument as me telling my boss he can't fire me after I accidentally burned down the shop because the cost of training someone new would cost money. You're a joke! It's money WELL spent, that will end up saving us in the long run!
uh huh - and your administration just gave away $4 million to a corporation (Spectrum) for no reason. - none - nada. give me $4 million and i'll create thousands of jobs by paying people to work the recall. :-)
A government is by the people, for the people, and when you don't listen to the people, they might very well recall you.
And how many millions is Walker projected to spend in defending his position?
Who believes this stuff?! Walker cut the education budget by 1.6 billion dollars, and that's why there's no money for teachers or textbooks... This video, and others like it, is a veritable lesson in fallacious thinking and political spin.
looks like Walker and his sidekick are getting desperate. 300,00+ signatures so far, it looks like Wisconsin will have a nice 540,000+ signatures by Christmas. so long, scumbags.
getting rid of walker matters more than anything now Rebecca...we do it so our children do not have to spend much more than 7.7 million on Walker's resolution. I am sorry...but you could not sell your point
"Signing a recall petition is like saying you are okay with spending more months and more millions on political campaign ads." Kleefisch makes it sound like campaign ads are funded by our taxes. Perhaps we need to look closer at where she's pulling her money.
What a flaming hypocrit! You've cost my family $8000 this year alone in salary decreases. Maybe not everyone's taxes went up, but I chipped it $8000 to go to voter suppression, environmental damage, education rape and lining the pockets of business that don't deserve one dime. Scotty came into office on a recall. THERE IS A REASON WE HAVE THEM.
Hey Rebecca, when you find yourself out of a fucking job soon, you can pawn that stupid football. The cost of getting rid of a group of fascists like Walker, AND YOU, is irrelevant.
LMAO! Hahahhaaaa, money for health care for the poor! Hahaaahhah, raises for teaches hahhahhaaaaa! Oh that's rich, Rebecca!
If I may point something out, assuming you are correct that the cost would be $7.7 million, wouldn't it be more accurate to divide that cost by the number of required signatures, which I believe is 540,000? 7,700,000/540,000=$14.26 per person. In order for my signature to be worth as much as one Bart Starr signature, we would have to spend $162 million.
This ad is going to backfire on them badly. Half the people of Wisconsin will say: "What? We can get rid of Scott Walker for ONLY $7.7 million? What the hell are we WAITING FOR?!"
This is one of the most ridiculous political ads I have ever seen. SERIOUSLY!! "Don't use your constitutionally guaranteed rights to exercise democracy when you want change. Change isn't convenient. Oh look, a FOOTBALL!"
What is that woman smoking?
And did she just lie about the financing of elections?
How DARE any politician tell citizens what they should/shouldn't do about their elected officials. If citizens want you out, then out you go. It is our right and we will exercise our rights!
Way to tell the truth! The wack job libs and union thugs don't give a darn about how much this is going to cost Wisconsin. Spend! Spend! Spend! until we get our way, even though the people spoke at the election and voted for Wisconsin, not liberal crap. Don't know what the libs are going to do when they loose again, but you have my support and my donation. Recallers can french kiss the darkest part of my you know what!

Your chump is GOING DOWN, and there ain't shit you can do about it. When Obama gets elected again in 2012, I can only hope that you will become so despondent that you hang your fucking republican maggot ass down in a basement somewhere...
What matters most is removing you and Walker from Office. How much did the bogus candidates the Repubs ran in last summers recall elections cost taxpayers? You apparently did not have a problem wasting taxpayers money then. Fitz already stated repubs may run bogus candidates again in future recall elections. Voter ID bill costs? When actual voter fraud in Wisconsin was estimated at 0.0007%. Proverbs 17:7 Arrogant lips are unsuited to a fool--how much worse lying lips to a ruler!
Democracy doesn't have a dollar value. No amount of money is too much to ensure that the voice of the people is heard, our values implemented. Hearing references to education and health care in the mouth of this woman makes me gag. What matters most to these GOP hijackers is the profit of themselves and their oligarch puppet masters.
The majority of Wisconsinites support the recall, and these douche-bags know it. They'll do anything to keep power.
Oh go stuff it Kleefisch, as in go stuff your bags... you're getting booted! This amount of money is a small price to pay to save our state from these horrible policies that are destroying our state!
What a naked abuse of political power for personal gain! "Don't sign those petitions, 'cause it's EXPENSIVE to force us out of office!" Hey Rebecca, you shoulda thought about that BEFORE you and Walker went against the will of the people! Now, you will find out what DEMOCRACY means! SIGN THE RECALL PETITION.
Walker lies and apparently so does Clownfish. Walker testifies in Senate oversight that collective bargaining is NOT a budget issue, after the propaganda echo chamber broadcast lies before and after his testimony. Unions are NOT fueling this recall, trust me. But hey keep thinking that if you want. But don't get caught with your pants down when we deliver 1.3M to the GAB in a big UNION semi! HA HA RECALL THEM ALL WI can't afford them!
Hey I just want to do some more quick math here... Population of Wisconsin is 5.69 mil. Supposed recall costs is $7.5 mil. Therefore the real cost of recall to me as a taxpayer is what, $1.32?
Yeah... I'm OK with this cost for democracy. It's better than trying to twist arguments with logical fallacy. Shame on you trying to create shock away signatures for those not understanding that $7.5 mil is a drop in the bucket when spread across the state.
@BStroinski Oh wait hold on, 24% of our state is minors, so it's really more like $1.74 per adult taxpayer. Still, that's the cost of like TWO tacos... Oh man, I hope WI doesn't have to reallocate its taco fund. hope it comes from the poor's healthcare fund or schoolbooks fund like she suggested instead.
@Stanislawluberda Zero dollars, if Walker hadn't turned away the Federal grant. But since he did, we were on the hook for something like $80 million (perhaps more) on the construction that was already done. Whoops.
Dear Rebecca Kleefisch: You need to work on your math skills. If the election will cost $7.7 million, my signature is only worth $14.25. It takes 540,208 signatures to recall the governor.
If you & the soon-to-be-ex-governor told the voters during the 2010 election what your true intentions were you wouldn't have forced the voters of Wisconsin to spend any money on a recall election because you never would have won in the first place.
Walker isn't using Union as an excuse, but he is targeting them for the special treatment that they had been receiving and how out of step their benefit package was with the majority of Wisconsinites!
Um sorry buddy. I'm not union. But I care about my kids' education....I'm also not a Republican...but I can tolerate them most of the time....however? This administration's behavior is so far out of line? It's completely INTOLERABLE....these people have lost their minds.....
You so called Progressive Liberals got nothing! You and your ilk are to the extreme left compared to the Progressive Liberals of the 60's (Kennedy) and if Sen McCarthy were alive today, you would all be on his Black List. Who the hell do you have that is running against Walker that is better than Tom Barrett? Kathleen Falk, yah right! she couldn't couldn't beat Doyle in the 2002 primaries! She is a Madison Lefty! And then some Union Hack Fire Fighter, get real! Where are the real Democrats!
7.7 MILLION? I remember the "it's working" video claiming saving 756 million wasn't worth the time because it wasn't a large enough portion of our deficit so that section of our spending would be excluded. Now they are trying to save a hundredth of that amount.
What an idiot!! Perhaps if it weren't for you and Gov dbag we wouldn't need to go through all of this crap!!! Listen to ALL of the people of WI!!!! Tammy Faye wanna be!!!
It'll only be 7.4 million dollars if the GOP doubles the cost of the election by running fake Democrats... Apparently she's already admitting an intent by the GOP to waste an additional 3.7 million to get an extra 4 weeks in office and raise money.
Anothere example of GOP election fraud. I'm going to file suit against this creature for influencing the recall based on an idiotic "comparison," and a LIE. Lock her up! And then don't visit IT.
What an idiot. You could avoid a recall election if you and Walker just resigned... And just think, that would only require ONE signature (yours) instead of 500,000!
I answered plainly, I suppose you are the same troll on facebook? Being paid to be a stupid troll isn't a job. And Yes State workers do pay taxes, my mom use to be a teacher but she wasn't making enough to live off so she moved to a job doing therapy for children with disabilities. Again so it's ok for the republicons to waste tax payer's money on a fake democrat but recalling the republicons is a waste? Just a bunch of party line bullshit right there.
You sound like a socialist that would rather give money to teachers and health care recipients. I thought you like touring the state on election campaign funds?
This is Plan B: let Scott Walker take the knives, and keep Rebecca Kleefisch as the New Puppet. She's perfect: photogenic (big TVQ ratings!), typical mom (her husband wouldn't like her touching his special football!), perky (does YOUR hair look that good when you have morning coffee?) and just as innocuous as can be. Of course, she's also a raving religious fundamentalist who compared my gay partner to a table or chair.... RECALL REBECCA KLEEFISCH. If only Scott goes, Wisconsin is still sunk.
@williejenkins666 I have had a job since I turned 17, not a day of unemployment and I support those in need. So it's ok for them to waste tax payers money then?
Scott Walker's signature cost your kids $1.6 billion in education funds. Scott Walker's signature cost taxpayers $17 million for Voter ID. We can't afford any more of Scott Walker's signatures.
No one wants to live off of taxpayer money, MrWalkerrules. Get your head out of your ass and take a good look at reality. These people have destroyed the possibility of the "American Dream". You have to have two incomes to raise a family. Mortgage structuring require many people to work more than one job. You don't mind $200 million in tax breaks to corporations, but $7 million to exercise our democratic rights is just too high a price? You and those like you are completely hopeless.
im not ok with any of you fuck sticks that want to live off taxpayer money on your over inflated salaries. i hope you do get your recall and you win the election and to pay for it your all laid off permanently when ya gotta find a job in the private sector and pay 1000 or so for insurance you'll think of this day and say god im a cock sucking sperm licking dick head wish walker was still the gov fuck heads
Notice when they're up for recalls they say we shouldn't do it because of the cost but they didn't care when they ran a fake democrat against shillings last election, how much did that one cost?
See, you miss the issue is that progressives by and large are okay with spending that benefits society. It's appalling to many how unions were targeted after monetary concessions were made as benefits to big businesses (and against small ones) passed. People realized it is bad policy and wish to rectify it. That's democracy and it doesn't come free.
Of course, what do I know? I just studied Political Science, History and Economics. Not that it gets me a job in this state...
Um, never belonged to a union and don't always agree with them. However, I know enough history to know what gains had been made in the past century and would like to not return to those days.
What I do know is that Walker has used unions as an excuse to slash budgets for public works, most notably education, all while giving tax breaks that did nothing to promote business development in the state. Political favors lined the pockets at a few while everyone else continues to struggle
Screw you dumb shit. Its YOUR fault that YOUR boss caused the recall. And btw- democracy has a cost and if YOUR boss didn't waste money and give unwarranted tax breaks, you wouldn't need to waste money on this add.....
I'd like my signature's worth to give back some of the money the UW system has lost from the current administration's decisions. I signed the petitions.
Just for S's & G's, Let's look at a couple of statistics/facts:
1) 2011 Unemployment Rate December 2011: National 8.5%, Wisconsin 7.3%
2) Recall Election Costs - 2011 2 Million Dollars, 2012 7 - 9 Million Dollars, for a total of 11+ Million TAX PAYER DOLLARS
3) Before Walker took-over, Wisconsin had a Budget Short-Fall of 3.6 Billion Dollars. After Walker took over control, Wisconsin is in the Black.
4) Before Walker took-over, Wisconsin was facing massive LAY-OFFS And now,,,
