correction USF used to be a commuter school. If you don't live in Tampa or have never been on campus then you wouldn't know that the entire area is campus housing and collegiate living apartments. I LOVE having the team play at Ray Jay. How many schools get to play on a professional football field and actually have a nice stadium? Not many. And when USF does build an on campus stadium its going to be epic. Unlike most colleges who basically have an upgraded high school stadium with bleachers.
@StringbeanO3 I live in Tampa...I lived in Hidden Palms and St. Croix for 5 years. USF is a commuter school. Sure they have built a few dorms recently, but it is what it is. Playing at Ray Jay has no campus feel... Go to a university town that isnt in a large city and the whole town is about that university...Tampa is not about USF... sorry...its just the way it is....
