I can tell you people. The U.S can only dream of becoming a leader of anything again, especially the free world, unless you have a president of the same calibre as this Paul Hackett. This guy is absoulutly brilliant. Check some of his debates, especially on hardball against a cunt named Van tyler or some crap. Tell me did this Brown guy get the votes.

Rabelai2006. Charlie put up an amazing showing but lost the election 49% to 46%. That is an amazing number since this district has a 51% Republican registration vs a 32% Democratic registration. Considering that uphill battle he had, it was an amazing campaign. Charlie's not going anywhere though and if John Doolittle makes it through this term without being indicted in disgrace, Charlie will be there to go head-to-head with him in 08.

One of these days, we need to get Hackett to Washington. The man is intelligent, truthful and sharp. He has my respect. Plus...humor...critically important.

Paul spoke at several events here in the CA-04th today. It was 11pm on the Saturday Night eve of the election and Paul was being his usual fun and genuine and humorous self. We were sitting at kitchen table after his long day and an evening with Charlie's family.
