@darringuiter There's a very wide gradient of drugs though. Not all are the same. 99% of musicians smoke pot, for instance, which most definitely is a creative aid. To deny that would be laughable. Drugs simply alter one's mind and allow for creative insight...sometimes tremendously powerful insight. Don't dismiss them all just because a few are problematic. Most opiates, including heroin, ARE dangerous. But pot and psychedelics most definitely are not. There's a reason creative people use drugs
