Man this takes me back, seeing the broad streets and houses sitting far back away from them behind the big, old trees. Some of what you showed was there when I lived there but much of downtown is way different now, was a nice reminiscence. Hm, you weren't on the section I am thinking of but are they still working on the Gulf Freeway? (If you are from Houston, you get it.)
I'm thinking of doing a drive through Montrose, to give everyone an idea of what the neighborhood used to look like, and then show some of the monster condos they've put up in the area. Darned those hetero yuppies and their money!
And yes, the Gulf Freeway is still under construction, or expansion, or repair, pick one. That makes about 30 years of continuous construction, doesn't it?
If I hadn't had an appointment, I would've stayed home that afternoon and watched it from the comfort of my porch. Glad you liked the video, I have more ideas for showing the sights around town, coming soon I hope!
i cant do injections,i tend to pass out,last time i had my hand stitched up i refused the local,and it bloody hurt,love and respect scotty and libby:0)
