well, if you wana get technical, there are some more dangerous parts of afghanistan, i e , the provinces that border with pakistan are more then 1000% more hostile and deadly then the north west parts of afghan. and guess what, other then the united states and britian, canada is the only other NATO country that operates in this dangerous and combat ripe area, and they are in control of a whole province, so it is correct to say one fighting in this theatre is braver because they face more danger

@funker530 It isn't phosphorous, tracer round colors vary depending on which substance is in the back of the round. Point in case, Russian rounds typically have green tracers because they burn barium. Phosphorous burns white, magnesium is whats used in NATO rounds as it burns red.
