A 525XC has aprox. 5 more hp then a stock Raptor 660 does. But it also weights aprox. 130lbs less dry weight which accounts for the higher hp.

ya. my 450r, bone stock could run with a new raptor. but he had full exhuast, jets, and no airbox lid w/ K&N filter. so, as soon as i got into mid 4th gear he was pullin ahead. by 5th he was gone.
a stock YFZ was the same story, they got me on the top end. but when i raced him up comp hill the third day... i smoked him, every race. 1st through 3rd gears was no competition. 450rs got some nasty low end power.

I have outran so many raptors on my stock yfz its not even funny...i will agree however that the new suzuki 450 will spank it pretty good! Even the new raptor 700s cant outrun my yfz at our sand drags

ya. my 450r, bone stock could run with a new raptor. but he had full exhuast, jets, and no airbox lid w/ K&N filter. so, as soon as i got into mid 4th gear he was pullin ahead. by 5th he was gone.
a stock YFZ was the same story, they got me on the top end. but when i raced him up comp hill the third day... i smoked him, every race. 1st through 3rd gears was no competition. 450rs got some nasty low end power.

I do it on a regular basis!So do John Natalie,Joe Byrd and Jeremy Lawson.Anyay,I could name some more but you get the point.The YFZ is not nearly as good once you start too build the motor,but yeah it's a little bit faster then the 450R stock.Sorry too break it too you but top speed is about 10% of what makes a bike.Oh yeah the yfz suspension is better stock,but anyone who is even serious about riding is going too replace that anyway. HONDA!!!!

ya, if you want a frame that has a tedancy to snap in half. i heard that somewhere in californa the damn things were breaking in two. hahaha. not with a honda.
