i think its a KA24 with aftermarket turbocharger. or only a quiet exhaust system. sr 20´s are more aggressive

Probably stockish/bolt-on SR. They have kind of a relaxed sound with the stock turbo and quiet exhaust.

Seeing as its left hand drive, im putting it down to being in the states and the engine sounds a little too low to be an SR20. Sounds like the standard motors for the american version which was a KA24DET (hence they are called 240sx not 200sx or silvias)

@TheBustyWizard S14's are light weight and they're RWD so yes they are perfect for drifting only car better for drifting other than the 240sx is the Nissan 350z,Porshe,Mazda Rx-7 BMW 3Series,Honda NSX,Mazda Rx-8,Nissan Skyline,Nissan Silvia(which is japan's version of 240sx).So yea keep it,im actually looking for a 240sx here in Socal

Great video, wish I could have that much fun in a Sil / 240, whichever it is. Just wondering, how much would this guy spend on tires in a drift session, would he need new tires very soon or is there an amount of calculated time a tire can last? Of course I know it depends on the track, conditions, type and brand of tire, but I'm asking in average, how many sets of tires do drifters use or how much they last?

@95stangdude Depends of the Tires. For me A good pair usually lasts at least 2 sessions. But then again it depends......theres alot of factors man.

Is a 240SX not a Silvia. RHD Silvia - LHD 240SX. It don't matter if it has a SR or anything else. is still a 240SX. Other than that nice video.

@Pento007 but you can make a 240sx a RHD so that throws your words off. It's a 240sx if it was sold in America, but its a Silvia if it was sold in Japan.

i live in japan so i dont know what a ka sounds like but i have an sr 20det, i drift with skylines all the time and it sounds more like an rb20.. he defiantly needs to learn to use the e- brake and adjust the diff to lock sooner, cuz my Silvia slides very easy.....

thats not an rb. looks like he's drifting at 3k rpm. he needs to rip it and pull the e brake until he's sideways. release the e brake and counter steer and shit and puting the pedal to the medal lol
