@AyePalTube Either addon works, really. I've used healbot before and I did fine as a healer. VuhDo has more going for it, however, because of all the in-depth functionality. There's a lot more use for it than just for healing. For example, I use it on my warlock, and I've bound certain buffs to my panels. I kill two birds with one stone because I have nice-looking, editable raid frames, as well as a quick and easy way to use my buffs.

@guidi2005 I am not an expert but you may have it set up to do something like "smart cleanse" where the first click will cleanse the target if possible, then the subsequent click will heal.  Go to the spells tab then the smart cast button and see if cleanse is checked.

I for one think Blizzard's methodology and UI are clunky, non-intuitive and just plain butt ugly. Just about anything is an improvement. It isn't about being a "nub," it's about being efficient.

@oxoboro thanks. If you're talking about the pinkish colored thing to the left, that's Power Auras, it's to show when wild growth is available. Or if you're talking about the vertical bar, that's sexy cooldowns. I show most of the mods I use at the end of the third video.

@HirakoCaptain It works by itself. If you don't want to use it when you are solo or in a group of up to five people you can go to General - General - Hide Panels and click [Solo] and/or [Party] to auto hide it when you're solo or in a group of up to 5. If you want to hide it in a raid you'll have to do it manualy. One way to do that is to right click the icon around the mini map and De-select show panels.

Maybe it has something to do with auto use of trinkets. Try going to Spells - Misc and disable Trinket 1 and 2 and Instant 1 and 2 under Trigger What... If that doesn't help you may want to ask the author at Curse(.)com. He responds to questions pretty quick.

Vuhdo is a great tool for heals, especially for new healers. One thing about be healer is tat, i feel like im somebody at the stock market trying to buy and sell. cuz all im doing is monitoring the same old boxes while the tanks r dps r having fun in action. Gets boring and tiring sometimes.

Any class or spec can get old. When I'm not healing, I tank heroics and do feral DPS on some of the easier bosses. I also have a mage, so I'm not healing all the time.

By default, Left click will target someone, but that can be changed. You may have been tinkering with something and changed it. If you go to **Spells - Mouse** and click [None] on the left, then you can select which button to target with (most likely Left Button). So under Left Button type in target . That should do it, if not let me know.

But what you can do is go to **General - General - Filter** and make sure [Focus] is not selected. Then make a new frame for Private Tanks. Or if you already use one for private tanks, you can just use that one. Then when you get to Dreamwalker, set her as your focus target. Then that should put her in your Private tanks panel.

I think I'll try this tonight to see how it works.

Long time since you asked but still no answers so here be mine.

Yes slap the dreamgurl on focus and then she shows up as a private tank and you can do all your trics.

-Annoyingly she falls off focus when you enter the dreamstate, but a handy macro fixes that one.

If the target is within ur range u heal them - u dont have to manually find them, target them and heal them - the addon makes it for u - and ull see u will get a much higher healing this way then manually oldstyle healing.

To edit other panels go to the Panels tab on the bottom then click on the panel you want to edit. The top right of VuhDo will say what panel you are editing (Panel # 1 or Panel # 2) once you have selected the other panel.

Private tanks can be anyone you want them to be. They don't have to actually be tanks. To set someone as a private tank mouse over them and open the VuhDo menu and click Private Tank. To set the VuhDo Menu go to **Spells - Mouse - Mouse Key** and type in Menu in any of the spaces that you want to be your menu button. I have it set as Modifier Key [None] on the left and under [Middle Button]. Once someone is set as a Private Tank, you can do a couple different things. I'll put those below.

1. You can make a group with only private tanks in it. This is nice for when you want to see the main tanks in a separate panel but the raid leader doesn't set up main tanks.

2. You can Monitor some of your buffs on specific people. If you want to make sure Dampen Magic is on two people and only those two, you can set them as private tanks then go to **Buffs -Config** and under Dampen Magic in the dropdown click Private Tanks. Then click the two check boxes for Dampen Magic.

Is there a way to get the addon to flash something in the middle of the screen letting me know certain procs are available? Inspiration, surge of light, those kind of procs on priest. I'm usually so focused in on the bars and whats going on that I don't look at my own buffs/debuffs corner.

VuhDo won't do that but there are plenty of other mods that will. The one I use is Power Auras. There are some good tutorials for that mod on YouTube.

Hi, any idea why I cannot change GotW in Buff Watch to MotW? For my paly there are dropdown menus that allow me to select between different auras and seals, but for GotW there's only the tracking menu (me, group, etc)

Nope there isn't a dropdown for that. To determine what buff you use, go to **Buffs - Rebuff - Group Buffs**. If you want to always buff GotW click [Always]. If you want to use MotW click [Never].

Or you can click [Smart] then use the slider right below. If you use that and put the slider to 5, then if five or more ppl are missing eithr buff it will use GotW. If 4 or less ppl need to be buffed, then it will use MotW and you'll just have to keep clicking it until everyone is buffed.

I don't know of any configurations that will make it so you can heal out of combat and not in combat. I'm assuming you mean you can't use the mouseover heals that are set up under **Spells - Mouse** and **Spells - Keys**. The only thing I can think of is to make sure you put the spells in correctly. For the Mouse spells if you put a spell in right a orange Spell will pop in the text box. And for Keys the words will become brighter. Other than that you may need to download a newer version.

Ok, for some reason, my Vuhdo is casting Flash Heal of rank 9, as opposed to rank 11. Any clue what's going on?

That sounds more like a bug than a configuration problem.  I can't find anywhere to even use lower rank spells, unless you typed Flash Heal(Rank 9) somewhere in **Spells-Mouse** or **Spells - Keys**. You may need to download a newer version of VuhDo. Other than that you can post on Curse(.)com and ask the author directly.

Go to **Spells - Mouse** and make sure [None] is selected on the top left. Then under **Mouse Key** then **Left Button** type in the word target.

Unless you want to target with the right mouse button then type in target under **Right Button**.

One way is to right click on the vuhdo icon (female draeni) around your mini map. And deselect Show Panels. You'll have to click it again when you want to show the panels later. I don't know of any way to have it automatically hide when you join a BG.

In the Sample VuhDo Setups video at about 1 min 50 sec is Panels - HoT Icons. That's where you turn them on. Make sure that on the top left [Show] is checked. And on the right there is a check under [Own] for all your hots. Also make sure the dropdowns under HoT Order have the Hots you want in them.

If you want timers for the HoTs go to Colors - HoTs (about 2 min 5 sec on the video) and select the red button under [secs] or [sec/10] for the hots you want to see timers for.

is there any way to single target buff in combat?

as a priest, when someone's fortitude runs out in combat, i click on their name on the buff watch, but nothing happens..

otherwise it works normally out of combat

@ViBE313 It will only do single target buffs out of combat. The author had a question like this at Curse(.)com and he said: "It will also chose the "big" variant if you rebuff mid-fight, because addons can't change button assignments mid-fight." Whatever that means.

I don't use the buff watch thing, I just have it set to change the bar color of someone missing mark of the Wild or thorns and I use mouse wheel up for the raid buff and mouse wheel down for the single target buff.

Yeah, not everyone likes Pearl Jam. I haven't noticed it pausing though. The only reason I can think of that it would pause is that it just isn't downloading as fast as you're watching it.

I have abit of a problem.. When I'm clicking the raid healing bars it just heals myself.

Like: I want to heal a player let's say X, I click his bar and it heals me instead.

I'm not sure, I've never had that happen. That's something you're probably going to want to ask the author of VuhDo. There is a link to Curse on the right. Ask him there and he responds usually within a day or less.

Are you within Range of the player you are trying to heal? If you are not and you have auto self-casting enabled it will heal yourself instead of the intended target.

I think auto self-casting heals you only if you don't have a target or if you have an enemy targeted. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with range, unless there's another setting somewhere I'm unaware of.

Sure thing, and yes it is Pro, one of the really nice things about it is how fast the author responds to questions, bug reports and requests. He just added in the option to show only certain raid marks because someone asked him to at Curse. That's sweet.
