  • Hold it right it there, BuddyBoy600! Ernie is not being performed by Steve Whitmire in this sketch. According to Muppet Wiki, the earliest known appearance of this sketch is Episode 1707 (one of the episodes where Big Bird goes to Camp Echo Rock), and also from what I've heard, Steve's first performance as Ernie was in "Sesame Street Stays Up Late", so you might want to change the description.
