After the last hydrostats we had at work (which would take off at race speeds if you pulled back on the tilt) and the stunts we pulled, the company will never buy them again.
its kinda getting dangours with forklifts trying to be soft , i drive one every day of the week and i have drivin every kind of forklift you can imagine .
they are going on this user friendly path a little to much .
if the pallet is more stable then so is the operator .
i believe forklifts need to be wider then they are for more stability , i no what your thinking about that ( such as racking ) but seriously if any of these companys had put a little bit more thought into it .........
well if the driver on the toyota put it in forward and held his foot on the brake , then hit the throttle and take his foot off the brake it would of been a challange then !!! .
it also comes down to the width of the tyre and quality .
iv driven both forklifts and i can say that the toyota is more stable at 20kph than the linde by far !!! although the linde is quicker to unload a truck it lacks with no feeling for the operator . ( it feels to soft ) you need to feel a load and the road .
linde makes a great smooth comfortable truck, but wait until you see your first repair bill, I don't think the smallest component on this truck cost under $1,000.

We've got Toyotas now and they're pretty nice
