  • @ c3bhm: decarboxylation matters : 3:39,........ due to having your shake or raw material undergo this process means you can heat the cannabis at a low temperature with your oil or butter, if it did not undergo decarboxylation then you will have to heat it at a high temperature with your oil or butter...... that is what I got out of it

  • Allen if you boil it down you are knocking off the carbon molecule. Any type of heating technique does this. Some techniques are better than others.

  • if your using the oil to cure cancer or other major illness you need to knock the carbon molicule off the convert the THC-A to THC so it will fit in the receptors in the brain,so you get total conversion,it makes a dif.But if your just smoking it to relax like it do i just do the "boil it down" method .

  • I didn't catch why decarboxylation matters... what difference does it make?

    For my shake in oil, 15 minutes at "Simmer" (on the dial), where bubbles are just about to form - but aren't yet - seems perfect for potency.
