@EmilyBismeyer ok, lets straighten a couple things out. first, if you're going to insult me, do it on topic. cut this arrogant shit, use facts. dont call me stupid when you are the one leaving out information. what you said was incredibly vague. and based on your argument earlier, using your logic, i said my share the road bit.
@animation508 I don't see where I called you "stupid" once. In fact I did apologize not being more specific due to the substandard education system. If you feel that you are stupid I am sorry, perhaps going for a long bike ride will help air things out up there.
Some fucking cock sucker cut me off on his bike and I nearly got in a head on colision to avoid him. I told him the only reason I didnt crush his skull on the pavement was because I didnt want to hurt my Lexus. The holocost was targeting the wrong people- the jews did nothing wrong they should have been targetting those fuckers who ride a bike and think they own the entire fucking road. Guess what you hippie bastards the only reason you dont all die is because we let you live.
@jrwisno1 Oh wow, I'm sure it would suck to dent your poor man's mercedes... I mean lexus, sorry. And really, the holocaust? That's just wrong dude. By the way, cyclists acutally do have a RIGHT to the road, yours is a privilege that can be revoked. If anything, we have more reason to be on the road than you.
2. Unless things has changed roadways are paid through motor vehicles NOT bikes so your statement flat out wrong.
3. With RIGHTS come responsibilities: like not obstructing traffic, yielding to the right of way, and looking before going across a highway. A couple weeks ago I saw some biketard dart across a 4 lane highway and guess what, he got hit and killed: and the only thing I could think was he had it coming.
@EmilyBismeyer so you're the one who said the holocaust should have killed cyclists? That's fucked. Now, to address your second point. I don't know where you are, but here in santa monica, PUBLIC roads are paid through general taxation, not just car purchases but sales tax etc. As far as right of way is concerned, we ar required to ride as far right as *SAFELY* possible and obey all traffic laws as a car would. Don't let the few spoil it for the many. I ride within the law and expect the same...
@animation508 from drivers around me, as it is also your responsibility. You can't honestly say that cyclists feel entitled when, just today, I saw a porsche speeding (doing 60) in a 25mph school zone. Honestly, what's more dangerous? A cyclist cutting a stop sign or a speeding 3-ton porsche?
@animation508 Go to Madison Wisconsin and when you see a line of 6 bikes going down the road going 5 in a 45 while laughing tell me thats right. And its not an isolated incident I see these idiots at least once a week doing things that would get anyone driving a car ticketed or arrested. Perhaps in Santa Monica cyclists show an ounce of respect to cars but here they don't.
@EmilyBismeyer What does laughing have to do with it? Sorry, I don't get it. Also, as long as they were over enough for you to overtake, but at the same time not put themselves in danger, you'll hve to deal with it. Perhaps in wisconsin drivers don't care for cyclists, but here in santa monica we share the roads.
@animation508 WOW. I knew California schools were shit but really, if bikes are going in a line perpendicular and laughing at the traffic they were blocking traffic. Not specified b/c I thought that was common sense, sorry. Also, do you people smell your own farts? I had always heard you people were smug out there but that is funny as hell, and by that I mean "Perhaps in wisconsin drivers don't care for cyclists, but here in santa monica we share the roads." I couldn't stop laughing

This comment has received too many negative votes show
it's not road design dumbass. it's the lack of education in drivers and cyclists. even if roads were designed you'd still have drivers doing this

I'm a driver and a cyclist.
Now this whole cyclist VS motorist thing just reflects how poorly the engineers' education is done.
The engineers don't know how to design roads that accepts multiple modes of transportation.

@animation508 couple things:
1. I need to take credit for my own rant.
2. Unless things has changed roadways are paid through motor vehicles NOT bikes so your statement flat out wrong.
