i have a dmg thats 13 gigs....obviously this is a lifesaver because there is no way i can save this large file into my external hard drive without formatting into mac (journaled) which makes it impossible for me to use it for both windows and mac
@MacAlexxxxx say you wanna upload a 4GB File and most FREE WEBSITES have a limit of 1GB max. this way you can divide it into parts and upload each part :D
@MacAlexxxxx or if you are stupid (like me) and download a dmg file of total 6.1 gb on a computer and you attempt to use it on another computer but you don't have any portable hard drive of over 4 gb to transit it.....

Can I ask a question? What is the effin point of this?? WHY WOULD I WANNA SPLIT A DMG FILE? How does it benefit me or what?
