All joking aside you'd really probably not want to bring a porsche to Bathurst...lots of off camber nasty hilly corners, concrete walls etc. Not a good place to try a porsche at the limit.

I was joking with the cut you a break thing, just trust the S2000 a lot more at the ragged edge, it is also more prepared for road course assault than the 911. And seeing as you're in Australia I doubt we'll be meeting anytime soon :-p

Read a bit more, he acknowledged that a rear engined design that hangs the motor so far out gives a high polar moment of inertia - or in other words, dodgy at the limit. Maybe go drive a Porsche sometime, not at road speeds but on a track - go find out what `snap oversteer ' is all about - plenty of Porsche owners know exactly what I'm talking about - at least those that drive them on tracks rather than posing about town
