It's sad readin Portia's book, to know that the cast barely knew each other for all the years they were filming. They only saw each other when shooting scences other than that they would be in their dressing rooms or eating lunch seperately.

They tried to show that she had changed a little from her "Mary Poppins" like represed character from Season 1. Ally was both weak, strong, non-sexual and sexual. She was a little bit of every woman! Plus even with that episode it wasnt all about sex on Ally Mcbeal compared to today's shows which are all sex

Actually Season 2 was filmed in widescreen. The new Complete Series box set out in America has it in 16:9. It's the FIRST time anyone has ever seen it that way. No HDTV airing in 1998 and the foreign DVDs were 4:3

She didnt look like Sarah Michelle Geller. Geller is a lot younger than Calista who on Ally was in her 30's. I think you are comparing her because in this season her hair was long and curly and she showed her arms a lot like Sarah M. Geller
