No I'm not cheating. Each note has a green slide bar underneath it which is individual volume control for that note. Plus there are other ways to control volume by editing the soundfont file (.sf2) which is what gives the icons their sound.

You must first get a soundfont from somewhere, google it or search on youtube, then rename the soundfont file to soundset3 and the current soundset 3 should be renamed.

These sets are edited specifically for these songs. Find samples on the internet and edit them with a soundfont editor such as Viena. I will probably make soundsets for public release in the future after I get better at it.

Thanks again! I am fairly happy with it, kind of released it prematurely as I needed to bolster the bass line a bit more and probably the vocal "aahs". But this is probably the last version of this song I'll do on MPC. It is hard for me not to try to perfect it because it is my favorite game song of all time. :P

Thanks! The soundset is very butchered and functional at best. It was my first attempt at doing a soundfont, and lets just say I have a long way to go in understanding what I am doing :P. Perhaps with some much needed refinement, I will release it at some point.
