  • I love Butch. He was always great to us, even though I can't speak and my old GF is transsexual. We went to see the Blair Witch Project one afternoon, and we were both scared!

  • i can not fucking believe this i moved from allston years ago but i lived right across from store 24 and mr.butch was actually the first person to ever talk to me in grim old boston he was such a prince his funeral looks beautiful actually RIP

  • Mr. Butch was a truly incredible person. I will miss him

  • I've just tonight found out about Mr. Butch's accident, and it deeply saddens me. I remember walking down to Store 24 at the corner of Harvard and Comm to buy tobbaco..I was always quick to give him the change in my pocket, but this guy would ask you to stay and talk to him. He had many good things to say, and I can attest that he is probably one of the most warm hearted people I've ever had contact with.

  • butch was the man

i remember him buying me beer in 1982

my friends and i used to get baked with him at the back of the rat and tell him strange stories

which years later he would remember

last time i hung out with him at the model cafe buying beers

he had that huge lump on his neck

i let him stay at my place in brighton a few times around 2003

    he cooked a chicken dinner

he was always quick with a smile

    and generous to a fault
