when I watched this about 2 years ago, I thought to myself, this is possible but it might take a couple decades. Now it seems like only years away, its breathtaking how much humans have progressed with science, limitless possiblities.
They say that we will see the beginning of this technology in 20 to 40 years. But they also say that their prediction of exponential growth is always underestimated so ya. 19 years old and my life span will extended to about 20- 30 more years and will much get higher by then so.... wow I'm going to live a very interesting life. That is if I don't die by accident.
I want to go into Nano-engineering for applications in Aerospace projects and eventually use it to mass manufacture safe ships in zero-gravity for commercial use.
Nope. She was saved by her Morph's biohazard/freshness sensor. That's why she put it back down. Either that or she's a secret agent who was testing the potency of the poison in the apple that she's leaving for her mark who's been staying at the hotel and who's greeted each morning with an apple at that very table. Don't you recognize her? That's Jane, Jane Bond.
@jasonguyperson Tell you what if you can make perfect cybernetics than i will let you remove one of my hands just so that you can replace it, and then i will let you i will shake your hand with your creation.
@jasonguyperson more then 1/3 of our generation will die of diabetes and heart disease before 50 and half will die before 60 so dont count on it if you eat unhealthly
@andrewfink1 Heart disease and diabetes would both be reversible with advances in nanotech. On an interesting side note, I am currently sitting in a study room on campus reading an article on carbon nanotubes. That doctoral degree I mentioned is well under way. :)
I guess your youth explains your ridiculous naïveté. Do yourself a huge favor and develop some semblance of a philosophical understanding of the relationships between Science, reality, and our existence within.
@selfrealizedexile The young have always been underestimated by their seniors, who tend to be hypercritical. Hopefully my devotion to atomic and molecular physics will lead to your life being lengthened as well. Pardon the valediction, but it seems fitting - "Live long and prosper."
very cool, however I don't see how a device could ever include all of these features at one time. Each one seperate is possible, but to integrate the nanograss to also work as mirrors ect for a 3d surface, and also as a touch screen, and ALSO as a flexible electronic device is fairly far fetched. It may be possible, but not likely in the near future.
Its one nanotechnology that does all those things...the things are basically different traits and shapes..kind of like a chameleon with its color changing...
And hear I was happy with my Ipad :(

The end was awesome, it even has wallpapers.
I want one.
I'd probably be afraid of losing that circular piece though...

Yes yes, mind blowing and all that garbage. But that woman left her apple on the table, she might die!

Talk about multi-processors on that device she was using, every single little tiny transistor is like a CPU on its own :P.
Mind boggling and intriguing beyond my wildest dreams :O.

I can see it :) soon this will all possible.
All we need to do is put science and technology truly at the service of humanity, instead of having humanity at the service of industry.
Flexible intelligent nano garments are already in the; initial design stage:)
The future is beautiful :)

Oh I agree.. I am so thrilled to be alive and young in this time! I am pursuing a PhD in nanotech/biotech. You and I may just live forever. :)

Yep, all we need humanity to go through again is another failed trial of Marxist anti-economics.
