Holy shit, that DEFINITELY needs to be made into a case!!! Like, Phoenix doesn't have his license, Apollo is missing, so PW needs to find someone to defend his daughter really quickly. Someone that's worth the edge, maybe? It'd be nice to see what happened to him after the one-year gap between GK and Apollo Justice. If I get some good ideas I might actually even make the case myself :D

Actually, anyone can defend! It's just suggested that they get a lawyer but Phoenix could defend for people who wanted him. (But with all the rumours and no more law firm, it seems that nobody wants him :P)

But if you make it, I certainly would be looking forward to it! =D

I'm afraid you're not Wright here :D Having your attorney license revoked means that you can NOT defend anyone anymore, even if you are paid, unless it's restored. Not to mention, if your theory was true, then who the hell wouldn't want a legendary attorney representing them? It's not about the firms, really.

However, as shown before in the AA games, anyone with a badge can defend, as long as the judge and prosecutor don't know he's actually not a defense attorney ;)

@crazy4max Err ok so these comments are obviously old, a year old but no one bothered to mention the fact that at the end of Apollo Justice, Phoenix was contemplating retaking the Bar in order to become a lawyer again. Just a heads up for anyone who would like to make this a case.

@Gleda4a Phoenix has been allowed to retake the bar exam after AA:AJ's final case, so he, in theory, could defend again...legally... In  theory.

@crazy4max wrong, during the first game(PW:AA) he was 24, and at the end of the 3rd game(AA:T&T) he was 27 and was still 27 after his disbarment, 7 years later at the start of the 4th game (AA:AJ) he was 34 and his adopted daughter was Trucy was 15 which Apollo was confused why Trucy was his daughter when he didnt look old enough to be her father because if she was his birth daughter he would have been 19. He was in college during that time, and didnt have any serious relationships.
