People say that the a330 and a340 have the same fuselage, only that the a340 is longer. But, it seems to me that the a340 is also wider. The aisles are much bigger than in the a330, and the shape of the fuselage does not look or feel as cramped.

Am I imagining things?

@ejdf870 A340-300 (The "normal" A340) and A330 have same length. A340-600 is clearly longer model

Please also include the Customer services i.e, Ticket and Lost Baggage Compensations. I found Qatar Airlines to be the worst in this case. Lots of my colleagues lost there baggage's and in return a very small amount was given only after following them several times.

I have flown with many carriers but Qatar Airways and there staff is Hocus-Pocus. Really think twice before flying with it. Emirates are very good in this case.

It's a modern good looking cabin. I prefer Finnair and Lufthansa A340

i got on a flight -- Emirates Airlines EK201 service to new york's JFK non-stop from dubai

the aircraft was an Airbus A380 and they were only 36pax on board in all three classes

im not shittin with u guyz ........it was like i have the whole plane to myself....

Love qatar airways. Flying LHR to DOH with them on sunday! Did the flight 3years ago and loved it! The a340 cabin feels so spacious and the seats and service is so good! And that song just reminds me of good times with themm! Absoloutly can't wait! :D

Yes that's right lol.

I was in an A340-300 for 14 hours non-stop with Full Load. Even some passenger had to wait for the midnight flight.

ok so i guess it was a full flight to charles de gaulle intl i can understand tht but if it was not a full flight to lfpg why would they use the a346 they are losing money that way i would go with the a332 but if i was on that flight ill be moving from seat to seat ad if some1 farts then no will be able to tell its who or where the scent is coming from lol

Every pilot for an airline has a schedule, of which contains his/her flight they must pilot. These certain pilots are likely to have control of only this Airbus A340-600, and so its a little obvious they cant use another aircraft. It's like handing your job to another pilot of that airline.

Another reason could be because Qatar Airways only operate A346s to CDG Airport.
