I've spent some time learning Cinelerra over the past few days. I've learned a lot, and have even further to go.
This tutorial is slick, but instead of music, I would have benefited from a narration track. I see what where you're clicking, but I'm not getting the benefit of knowing why.
I tried to make my suspension movie (Youtube) with Cinelerra last summer, but I got problems with bugs etc. After a week experimenting I have used a Windows program on my Wintendo partition.
Can you add video effects like slow motion, fast motion, black and white etc? I'm not sure if I should get this because it looks pretty hard to use. But it's free so..
To be a zoom tutorial you might have thought on making zoom on the video itself. At least focus enough so someone can read the commands. A voice documenting the process wouldn't hurt. Music is nice but I have music videos for that.
All I need to figure out is how to remove a keyframe. No help in this video!

Useless... if I could follow & understand what was happening, then I wouldn't need to watch this in the first place.
Tutorial Fail.

Unfortunately, the low resolution of the video makes it fairly useless as a tutorial. I can't see any of the commands you're using.

Got a good resource for a total n00b to cinelerra? I'm also a n00b to all types of video editing.
