No, this is neither from 3-2-1 Contact nor Zoom. It is from a show that has the word "City" in the title, I think. I can hear the theme music to this show that used to come on PBS back in the 70s, but the title escapes me. Maybe someone will know it and upload the bumper to it. Would like to see it again.

Wow I remember seeing this segment as a 10 year old kid. I thought it was on the 70's show "Zoom" though originally. I did make up effects untill my late 20's then moved on to music and video. Thanks for sharing and giving me a nice Blast from the past;)

It's great to see old vids of Ricks' studio,especially pre-American Werewolf.
Nice view of some of the Cantina Alien masks too.He is a passionate artist and it showed even then.Legend.
