  • I really sympathize and feel sorry for the character Cord. I'm very much like him in so many ways, and my dad has even quoted the line "How many times?" more than once.

I feel really bad during those times. I feel like I know better but in fact there is a much deeper meaning that I missed, just like Cord did here. I know I'm young and have a lot to learn in life, but it still hurts when I look back and realize how silly I was.

  • This was a beautiful film, I just watched it 10 min ago.

  • @umasbob it's about finding the answer within yourself and outer seeing does not have any bearing on that. He is certainly not playing a blind man in the spiritual sense. He did not fail but succeeded in Self Realization Cord is the real blind one. Till the end

  • LOL, yes, everyone should watch this movie, a couple times.

  • 2:23 I LOVE his response!!! LOL!

  • cool... thanks for uploading.

  • this is one great movie

  • Its a story about finding the answer to what is in the book. David knows the answers and is aggorvated by Cord and is telling him that he is the blind man because he failed to see the answer is within.

  • I love this movie

  • @gmanw3

So do I. Yet not too many people know about it. For myself, I stumbled into it in the Golden Age of Cable, the 1980's when Cinemax and HBO were still in their infancy

  • Thanks for the post, I have a copy of this movie; which is great, and this is one of the best scenes.

  • @kalaloch114

No problem. It is the most meaningful part of the film

  • @jbrewerman2 can you please explain this scene to me. thank you
